Early arrival is highly recommended. Staff and dentists are friendly. I've been a client here for a few years (this location and the previous one) and never any issues. They have entertainment for the kids (movies and books) and they have a staff member that engages the children with facts about oral health.

Meeting with the Smith’s

Kids Smiles has been unpleasant since adding an additional office to island Ave plaza. I’ve been having bad experiences. Last time I brought my kids here the customer services were extremely horrible. A couple that stands out to me is when I asked the lady behind the desk a question I forgot to ask the dentist and she told me “didn’t you just talk to the dentist damn”. At that point we got into an argument.

I been looking for a new dentist since then. However, I’ve giving them another try and schedule an appointment for today at 12:45pm. I’ve been getting reminders and confirmation texts/calls since 9/9/24 for that time and today’s date. 2 hours before the appointment I got a new appointment for 1pm. After calling to ask why the change and the answer I received was that it’s at 1pm there’s nothing else I can tell you because they will be at lunch I think this is so unprofessional and insensitive with how patients are treated and communicated with.

I should have stuck with my 1st instinct and just found a new dentist for my children. I’ve been bringing all my kids to kids Smiles for over 15 years and never had a problem until I came to the island Ave branch.

We had our first appt within the last month. The scheduling was easy, parking is available and they got us right in once we arrived. My son has Autism and they were able to talk with me to discuss a plan that will better fit for his sensory needs for future appointments. I found all the staff, both over the phone and in person to be helpful, nice and accommodating.
