I cannot explain how great experience I had with the team here! I had a an emergency root canal here while in town as I was here for family arrangements. This place not only took me in in less than 24 hours, but their level of care was amazing from the front office, financial, and dentist. The work they did was so smooth, and I practically fell asleep while they did my root canal! Complete opposite of what you think a root canal is going to be especially the trauma I had on that particular tooth. The dentist and the assistant had never actually worked together until me, and if I didn't know that I would have never of guessed.

Their professional care with me was top notch. Not to mention the dentist I visited when returning home, bragged on the incredible job they did on the root canal and said it was beautiful! I was they were my regular dentist back home as a dental practice like this is hard to come by.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at Lake Shore Family Dental. I came to this office with high hopes after leaving other dentists who constantly canceled appointments, changed their hours without notice, and had ridiculously long wait times to reschedule. I was hopeful this place would be different. At first, things seemed fine—but that didn’t last.

Without warning, they abruptly changed their office hours in a way that makes it nearly impossible for anyone with a standard 9-to-5 job to be seen. On top of that, they canceled my appointment and blamed it on “staffing issues,” which frankly feels like an excuse rather than the truth. I made time in my schedule, arranged everything to be there, and they clearly didn’t respect that. It’s frustrating and unacceptable to be treated like just another slot on the calendar—easily canceled or pushed aside when it’s inconvenient for them.

I’m looking for a dental office that values patients’ time, takes healthcare seriously, and operates with professionalism and consistency. Unfortunately, Lake Shore Family Dental has proven that they are not that kind of place. I’ll be finding a new provider who respects their patients instead of treating them like an afterthought.

This was my first visit there. I have severe dental anxiety and they made me feel comfortable showed me the entire office and even split up my X-rays and cleanings. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for a caring, affordable, and close dentist in the Pasadena area to give them a call.

Amanda Detrich

Professional, clean, up to date office. Friendly front desk staff with clear information regarding billing/insurance coverage given prior to treatments being performed and an abundance of appointment reminders. Kara the hygienist is knowledgeable and gives amazing attention to detail during her cleanings while still being gentle.

Dr Limsam is astute in his practice and has great bedside manner. Highly recommend this team for your dental care.
