My husband recently became a new patient at the Lititz Office. He was scheduled late April, I asked to be called if there was a sooner appointment and the front office called to squeeze my husband in. My husband was pleased with all staff members. His hygienist Ashley took her time on explaining his periodontal disease .

The front staff explained thoroughly how his insurance plan works and let us know up front how much we were anticipating to pay out of pocket. The atmosphere in this office was very welcoming and you could tell they enjoy working there. I scheduled my appointment and will be looking forward to bringing my whole family.

When one of my upper teeth "broke" I immediately went to Family Dentistry of Lititz! They were able to see me early the next morning (since I went on the day the office was officially closed and I wasn't in any pain). Dr. Sowatsky and his staff reviewed the possible solutions to fixing my broken tooth.

He explained the pros and cons of each and helped me make the best decision for my situation. The procedure was done on the spot and I left pain free and with a tooth that looked better than new! I have never had a bit of discomfort nor did it ever require any adjustment. I was thrilled!! I am a new patient at this office and would highly recommend this dental practice for quality and compassion!

This is the most unprofessional service provider I’ve ever experienced in my almost 65 years of life they have cancelled my appointment 5 times over the last 9 months and the last time they sent a reminder last Friday for my appointment on Monday then less than a hour later called and cancelled so I went to the office to get my paperwork sent to a new dentist and when I asked for the release form they showed no remorse or apology for anything that happened

Until recently, have never had an issue with this dentist office until I was overcharged for a procedure last summer and was never informed that a refund was due to me until I discovered it on a future visit in December. I've now been fighting with the dentist office since to get my refund and have had no luck. Very poor business practice for a small local business. Being told refunds take 90 days but yet when you go as a patient, payment is expected a time of service. Interesting that my appointment was in the summer and it is now mid-February and I haven't seen that refund.

2/19 update- I picked up a check for the money owed after talking directly to the dentist. Unfortunately, when I stopped to pick up the check, the office manager was less than pleasant to me when I questioned the delays and process. We will be changing dental practices after this.
