Horrible doctor. I arrived early for an 8am appointment for a general eye exam, knowing that being a new patient, paperwork would need to be filled out. 8:20 I was led from the main waiting room to a small waiting room with a tv - the Incredibles was playing. 9am I went into the room with the doctor. He looked into my eyes for literally 1 minute, then proceeded to lecture me for the next 15 minutes regarding a precondition that I was fully aware of. My depth perception was not checked, nor was my peripheral vision.

And that was it. I truly believe this doctor did not want any new patients, so he did very little and I'm sure he will receive his payment from the insurance company. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I recommend no one else sees this doctor.

Dr Martuccio just performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The experience to me was almost equivalent to going to the dentist, a very good competent dentist. It was fast, painless, and now I'm seeing the best I ever have with or without glasses. His staff is professional and down to Earth there was definitely a real home feeling I came away with.

I strongly recommend the good doctor to anyone who wants it done right. My only regret is I don't have a third eye so he could do that one as well, yeah folks the experience was that good! Ima big fan of Dr. Martuccio and his staff~ WJU

One and done. Waited forever in waiting room, obviously overbooked, but why? He’s about thee worst eye doc I ever saw in over 50 years! Thought I’d try him since he was on my vision insurance and local. Oh yea he “doesn’t do contact lens prescriptions at all. You gotta see the other doctor there if that’s what you want.

” First and last time there Doctor Martuccio said, I was “required by my insurance to pay for an additional exam procedure” during a routine exam for an eyeglasses prescription only. Nope. My insurance REFUSED to pay for that test costing me nearly an additional $200! After lecturing me too, like many other reviewers, in a distrustful way about a special strict diet I faithfully follow; as if I am a lowly person with no diet perseverance ( I’m a very vigilant and careful eater) he NEGLECTED to measure and record my near vision on the prescription I received. How do I know? Because my employer safety-glasses optician actually called Martuccio to find out WHY IT WASN’T ON MY EYEGLASS PRESCRIPTION paper I received in-hand the day of my exam! My optician was told after immediately calling him, I could come back in and get another exam! I use three different lens power settings in one pair of glasses and the RX didn’t contain the near vision information.

So the optician used what was written on my RX. I Could not see correctly with the prescription once I received my new glasses! I now drive way out of town and pay out of pocket for my old out-of-network eye doctor because I simply want to see well and trust a good doctor even if it’s not in my insurance network. Hope you SEE what I mean.

Terrible service. This will be a one and definitely done. Contact lenses were ordered incorrectly despite repeating what I needed. I could recount the experience in detail but I’ve already wasted my time and will continue to until it’s made right. Avoid this office at all costs.

I should have read the reviews first…. 3 star average, yep, that’s sounds about right. 3 star is probably the best they could do even on their best day. Avoid them.
