I came to New Waverly Place Dentistry recently as it was necessary for me to make a change after having been with the same practice for more than 10 years. I was feeling somewhat apprehensive about going into a new environment for my dental care. Upon my arrival Heather and Karlie were very friendly as they welcomed me as a new patient; they made a great first impression for the office! My hygienist, Julie, was wonderful! She was both thorough and gentle at the same time, and made sure that I knew what she was doing throughout my cleaning. She even asking if it was ok to tip the chair back (no one has ever asked me that before!).

I saw Dr. Zhang for this visit, he took time to talk with me and ask questions before moving in to examine my teeth. I did not feel rushed through as I have at times in the past. Dr.

Zhang listened to me and was able answer my questions and explain any issues in a way that was easy for me to understand. He is a true professional and a very caring person at the same time. This will be my new dental home! No need to look anywhere else!

Whitney Palmer

Dr. Brodie Jenkins and her colleagues are truly amazing. Dr. Jenkins has walked me through a five-year journey with a problem tooth -- from identifying that I needed a root canal when no one else even investigated the problems to sending me to an oral surgeon when the same tooth decided to misbehave again.

She is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, warm, and compassionate. As a family, we are her patients, and we couldn't be happier with the expert dental care she provides. I'm truly grateful for her expertise!

I cannot recommend Dr. Zhang enough. I have a history of severe dental trauma as a kid (my dentist growing up was in his 80s and didn’t care that novacaine didn’t work on me, real Little Shop of Horrors stuff). I worked through that a decade ago with the help of the UNC Dental school and septocaine, but it’s still an issue sometimes… I started seeing Dr. Zhang about a year ago and had my first filling with him and his hygienist Gail today. I cannot say enough about their kindness, calm, amazing bedside manner, and skill.

I. Felt. Nothing. I knew what was happening the whole time, felt supported and cared for. I’m literally crying in my car right now. I can’t believe that I’m looking forward to my next filling experience,

New Waverly Place Dentistry is awesome. So happy with the care and service they provided me. Dr. Jenkins is so kind and fun to talk to, she and her assistant always make me feel like family. They always do their very best to accommodate my schedule and get my needs taken care of! Amazing customer service! Always helpful and friendly! I love this dental office!
