It’s not fun going to see the dentist. My anxiety kicks in tremendously! As soon as I walked in, before making it to the counter, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. The receptionist said my name as if I’d been there before and it was my first time. When I was escorted to the room and met with Dr Tomack and his assistant, the hospitality shined even more.

Both of them helped to ease the anxiety and thoroughly explained the treatment I needed and provided me with what each phase would be. My last dental visit with another office did not even come close to this one. As a matter of fact, they gave me incorrect information which is why I’m glad I opted to get a second opinion. Thank you for your excellency

to summarize: I had a gum graft & this place is worth every penny long version: I am a very anxious person when it comes to oral sugery due to trauma in the past with my mouth. I had a gum graft with a different doctor in Aug 2023 and he recommended donor tissue and when it didn't take he just brushed me off like a crumb on his shoulder (Dr David Adams Perio in Garner). I kept asking if what was happening was normal and he insisted it was "fine" and scheduled no follow-ups. Since then I had 2 dentists and 1 hygienist tell me I needed to get the procedure and when I told them I already had it ALL of them were shocked.

Dr Tomack & his team have taken amazing care of me. The dressing placed on my palate stayed the 2 weeks and I felt zero severe pain only needing advil for pain mgmt. They even told me if the dressing fell off that they could replace it. The night of the sugery Dr Tomack called me himself to check on me whereas the other doc I had messaged just to say thank you and didn't even get a response.

I was moderately sedated and didn't feel a thing. If you are considering getting a gum graft I highly recommend Nu Image with Dr Tomack in Wake Forest. He is very thorough and it's so worth it!

NuImage is a great practice with amazing staff. I developed a toothache that was the result of a failed root canal. The tooth had to be extracted. This happened close to my long-planned trip, and it was the very first time I had to have a tooth extracted not counting my wisdom teeth when I was put to sleep. I was extremely concerned and nervous. The entire staff was great. The front desk assistant was very helpful with the paperwork.

Erica, the surgical assistant, showed so much compassion and understanding and made me feel so much better. She provided all the options and reassured me that they would take great care of me no matter what I chose. Dr. Perez was the same way. They worked me fast in their schedule. The actual extraction could not have gone any better. Dr.

Perez’s assistant, Georgiana, went through all the prep steps skillfully and caringly. Dr. Perez performed the procedure with incredible ease and at the same time caried on a very pleasant conversation. Everything went smoothy and it was over in no time. I am so grateful that they took such great care of me and that everything went well. I highly recommend the NuImage.
