New to the area and being able to establish the entire family with a dentist in one visit was amazing (2 adults & 1 eight y/o). As a FT working mom there just isn’t enough hours in the day to get everything done. So, I cannot express enough how appreciative I was/am for a FAMILY practice. The staff were amazing and friendly, putting us at ease upon arrival. We were seen quickly- within 10 minutes of arriving. I was able to stay with my daughter during her appointment with a smooth transition into my appointment immediately afterwards- daughter in tow. My spouse was going to be 15-20 min.

late to his appointment (Charlotte traffic) and the office was understanding & accommodating- rearranging the order of our appointments to keep everyone on track. As a mom the most important thing was my daughter’s experience which was so WONDERFUL!! Everyone was patient and explained every step during her visit. Her hygienist easily engaged her in fun kid topics which melted away her hesitation and nervousness. She described him as “awesome” adding he did an impressive job answering her questions. I also know he had her at Minecraft & chocolate toothpaste. After 3 exams everything was reviewed and explained with us in detail. Our treatment plan was developed WITH US (not for us) and driven by OUR wants, needs, time, and budget.

I have no experience in dental care (but working in healthcare and being a human on this planet) I’m well aware of the need and importance of patient-centered and whole-person care which sadly continues to be ignored in so many practices. So, they had me at patient-centered care. A knowledgeable team with friendly/kind people, excellent communication, and who have actually created an efficient & effective “office flow” is a win for this family. Highly recommend.

Orchard Grove Family Dentistry nails it with creating an environment that is friendly, inviting, and calm. I felt the calm energy from the moment I walked through the door. Super clean and I didn’t smell any chemical smells typical of a dental office, which was refreshing. Every staff member that I came into contact with was so kind. Dr Macken did not make me feel rushed or like a number.

She spent time giving me a thorough exam and explaining the results in a manner that I understood. My dental hygienist was excellent also! By far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Would give 10 stars! I am excited to establish a dentist office that I trust and feel comfortable with.

I was so pleased with my visit to Orchard Grove Family Dentistry! Everyone was incredibly kind and happy. I had not been to the dentist in a long while, but they treated me so well! All the work that they did was thorough and timely. I had a great experience and I have an appointment to go back in 6 months.
