Cancelled both our son’s appointments- 2 hours prior which is unacceptable especially if this appointment was made 6 months prior. The are very inconsistent with scheduling. If I could leave less than a 1 star-I would. We will try other locations.

First time at this location. Went in for a routine cleaning and the hygienist Carrie was as really great. Explained everything she was doing and made me feel really comfortable. Dr. Lam went though everything I needed done and is extremely nice and professional. He and his team are great and I will be back.

It has been a horrible experience the past year - not with the dentists themselves, but with the office staff. I’ve never been treated so poorly over the phone by another professional adult in my life. I don’t even typically bother to write reviews, but the way that the office staff at this location have talked to me over the phone this past year - once when I was ill and throwing up - is appalling. I had to cancel an appointment because I began throwing up. I tried to call first thing in the morning so they could maybe fill that slot. The woman on the phone treated me like I was lying, and while I was throwing up I was told that I was required to go over my insurance information right then. I asked if I could call back to do that when I was not sitting over a toilet and the office staff told me no, that she had to do it right then. I made my way downstairs to get my information and because I took to long was told “You know what, never mind.

I’ll have someone else get it later” with an extremely rude tone (???). I tried to let it go and assume that she was just having a hard day, but then I called in another time to discuss some tooth pain. I was shrugged off and told it didn’t matter because I couldn’t be seen for a month. When I told Dr. Lam about this experience he told me that he was never informed that I had called or was in pain by any office staff. The last time was when I called a couple days ago to schedule an appointment for my daughter and was told that she (my daughter) was unable to come back to the office ever because of non-payment. I apologized and asked if I could pay the balance because there must have been some miscommunication between her dad and I (which was a measly $120) and was told no, she could never be seen there again. I asked to cancel my appointment and made a switch to a new dentist.

They were able to get both my daughter and I in right away a couple of days later, but I had to call Park Dental again to get our X-rays and files transferred. When I called and asked to get them transferred the office staff was short with me. I asked if there was any way to get the files over to the new dentist by there date of our next appointment and was told “Yeah, probably not. ” I was also told by the office staff at our new dentist that we were not the first customers to switch over from Park Dental Salem Square for similar reasons. Needless to say, I’m so happy we left - so far it has been a much better experience elsewhere.

I was a quality assurance manager for 30 years. The quality of service at this office is exceptional. Dr. Waterman is the best dentist I have ever had in almost 56 years. All the personnel at this office are of the utmost professionals as well as kind, compassionate, and considerate.
