The practice is quite predatory - after a routine scaling & polishing (the polishing was apparently not done well, per a second dentist I went to the next day), the dentists there claimed I needed crowns and used discoloring & staining to scare me into thinking I had severe cavities, and presented me with an invoice of over $6,000 for the services and asked me to sign a commitment to pay and get the services performed. I got second and third opinions from other dentists, including a family friend, and they told me that I absolutely didn't need crowns. This is the second time I've gone here, only to be presented with ridiculous estimates and experienced unbelievably predatory behavior on both occasions.

I only go occasionally for cleanings because the office is located near my home, but definitely won't be going back. I don't need the fear of God being put into me, and presented with thousands of dollars of fees for unnecessary dental work, every time I go in for a routine cleaning.

Been going to PDA for years. While the ownership has changed and a lot of the personnel has turned over I still have a great experience. Lilia is a fantastic hygienist, along with being personable and attentive, does an amazing job. Recently started seeing Dr. Stump who’s been great. And Glennys at the front desk has been very responsive and handled some of my billing issues very well.

I truly cannot say enough fantastic things about PDA Dental. I’ve had such a great experience with Dr. Stump and the entire staff, who have been so supportive and helpful as I’ve been going through my Invisilign journey. I think they’re gonna be stuck with me forever because they’re the best dental practice I’ve gone to in the 20 years I’ve lived in NYC. 11/10 no notes!

Great staff. Hygienists and doctors are equally awesome. Special shout outs to Kristin who does fantastic cleaning everytime and patiently explaining my teeth’s condition. Also Dr. Stump for his thoroughness and sense of humor in putting me at ease. Overall a wonderful experience.
