Our experienced dental professionals are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care.
Dr. Angara is a great dentist, and I love her staff. My insurance recently changed to one not accepted by the clinic, but after trying a local chain dentistry, I knew I had to go back to Pennington dental care. They have an in-house dental care plan that makes my care affordable even without the insurance. I don't understand why anyone would use a chain when they can see Dr. Angara.

We have had nothing but positive experiences at this office. Beth the hygienist went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was comfortable and well taken care of during her last visit.

New patient here as I don't regularly visit the dentist, don't maintain dental insurance and have moved in the past few years. I had been putting off a suspected root canal for over a year now (was actually planning to visit a dentist on my next Japan trip in a couple months. . . ) but suddenly I got a lot of pain that only got significantly worse over the course of about 24h and need to go ASAP. Pennington dental care was able to see me that same day (actually within an hour of calling!) when other local dentists were either closed or could not fit me in same/next day. Michele is easy to talk to and work with and was able to give me a good price schedule given the fact I don't have insurance and needed more extensive work than just the root canal. While dentists usually push really hard for regular visits, cleanings, sealants, etc. and simultaneously try to guilt you into doing so, I did not experience any of this at this office (Michele did say I should get regular cleanings of course but in a friendly way).
Dr Joseph did great work and not only seemed knowledgeable and professional, but also one of the friendliest and realist dentists I've encountered. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and meticulous procedure - she was very slow and seemed really caring about her patients' wellbeing and her workmanship rather than just quickly trying to get through and moving on to the next "job". She was also very concerned with my comfort and level of pain. I generally need way more anesthetic than a normal person and it wears off quick - I've had dentists tell more "almost done just bear through it" multiple times in the past when I started feeling pain due to lack of sufficient anesthetic - Dr Joseph constantly would check up on me and try to help the second I had any pain/discomfort. Chaniece also has to be the best dental assistant I've ever had - just as real, friendly and caring as the rest of the staff, very comforting and on top of things. I almost wanted to ask if she was an apprentice because she also seemed so knowledgeable and experienced, but I didn't want to seem rude. Her and Dr Joseph had great teamwork. She was always in a good mood and would sometimes sign along with the music, which I thought was a nice touch. She would apologize for singing but I think it should be encouraged to help lighten the mood haha.
The office itself does seem a bit dated and doesn't have as much of the fancy newer tech that some dentist have (and strongly call attention to over their staff/work), but don't let that discourage or concern you. If one cannot do good work or provide adequate service/care without the help of newer tech, then newer tech isn't going to provide the extra benefits it can nor will it improve quality (to reasonable extents of course) - in fact, it could be used as a distractive marketing technique to get your attention away from poor practice or other concerns. Again, nothing along those lines experienced here. Best part for me is I feel so much better after the past couple visits, even more so though than a year ago - I didn't realize what else had been going on from previous dental work and how much it was actually affecting me. When I went to my previous dentist a couple years ago when I first thought I may have a cavity forming they did FULL xrays and didn't catch any other issues, nor did they think anything was wrong with the tooth that needed a root canal (or was just hoping it would become a root canal soon which means more money when I have to come back). Not only do I feel better physically, I also feel much better mentally and physiologically after coming to Pennington Dental Care - had I gone back to my last dentist, I don't think I could say the same. . Definitely recommend this place, especially if you're in the Hopewell/Pennington area the proximity is also very convenient.

A three hour Session during which I had my teeth cleaned after a hiatus of several years, three cosmetic fillings installed, and finally having a cap made for an undersize tooth next to my incisors, which should have been done years ago. Every task was performed well, with minimal discomfort. The dentist and her assistant were attentive, pleasant and informative as the work progressed.
