My overall experience as a potential new patient was very positive from the very first interaction on the phone to the in-person consultation. There was clear communication and transparency with all of the questions I asked; the staff answered in a very compassionate manner. They showed genuine care by following up whether it was through a text, a call, or email. And being in the medical field I know that educating the patient by making sure they understand the recommended treatment plan will help them feel safe and able to trust.

Also, the atmosphere and environment of the office was clean and up to date. I can't say that for many dental offices that I have been to thus far.

I have been with this practice since Dr Katz was owner of the practice (RIP). There is a reason that the word "EXCELLENCE" is in their title. I was HORRIFIED to be escorted into the basement level treatment space where it was flooded and closed off for a period of time, to find a water stained ceiling panel where I was sitting. The Germ Guardian air purifier had a blinking orange light stating the air filter needed to be changed. Who knows how long that has been blinking. I felt totally unsafe and felt like my health was in jeopardy the whole time I was there.

Anyone with health challenges should not be exposed to possible mold spores in the basement level. Although people in this practice try to be accommodating to one's requests, giving someone a neck roll wrapped in a plastic bag in 106 degree heat wave is both irritating and uncomfortable. Do dentists not realize it is better to have a conversation when standing in front of you verses at your periphery? Is it that hard to move the swinging arm tray so you can stand in a more professional direct line to have a conversation? As people age, they loose strength in neck muscles. Weak neck muscles struggle to properly support the head, causing strain and discomfort, and can also increase the risk of injury during physical activity or accidents. I asked this office two times to remove my cell phone number from the record. I am still getting phone calls on my mobile phone.

And lastly, I don't see the need to call me on my mobile to confirm an upcoming appointment the following week when I literally confirmed it standing in the office the week before. I realize that everyone runs their office the way they wish, however, there are basic things that need to be considered and carried out to keep the theme of "excellence". Finally, not everyone can climb steps easily in the basement to get to the front door of the office.

There are not sufficient words to explain the care, attention, and support that I have received from the staff in this office. Dr. Han and her team have provided not only the dental work and maintenance that I had neglected- they also worked to ensure every single fear and concern was thoughtfully considered and addressed.

Truly, an experience I’ll not forget. Thank you for helping me to be brave enough to take care of myself!
