The best dental experience Ive been to and highly recommended clinic! Dr. Rao is so kind. Techs are the best and very knowledgeable especially Ann who did my dental care routine! I have anxiety when it comes to my dental care but they put me at ease. No pain while doing the cleaning. Schedule is flexible with Ms.
Hyma. Great staff and great dentist! - Highly skilled people. Positive and calm environment.

Extremely disappointing experience- Unprofessional and Inconsiderate. Beware students or anyone else who goes here. I visited Pikesville Dental Associates a month ago, and it was dreadful. From the moment I walked through the door until the time I left, I encountered numerous issues that left me dissatisfied. To begin, the waiting time is unbelievably long. I arrived at the clinic on time for my appointment, only to be left waiting for 1 hour later to be called back. I understand delays can happen, but this was excessive and unacceptable.
When I was finally summoned to the back, my frustration escalated. I continued to wait another 45 minutes to be seen by the dentist. Meanwhile, the clerk desk is situated in close proximity to the open-door patient rooms, and I could hear all the incoming phone calls; complete with personal information being shared. This blatant lack of privacy and disregard for confidentiality is simply unacceptable and unprofessional. Also, the dentist, who was supposedly attending to me, appeared to be more interested in her phone than in providing the care I needed. It was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to keep a patient waiting while engrossed in personal phone activities. It gave me the impression that my time and concerns were insignificant.
Overall, my visit to Pikesville Dental Associates was a complete disappointment. The excessive waiting times, the dentist’s preoccupation with her phone, and the unprofessional layout of the clinic all contributed to a terrible experience. I expected a higher level of professionalism and respect for patient privacy from a dental practice, and sadly, I did not receive it. I would strongly advise anyone seeking dental care to think twice before considering Pikesville Dental Associates. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. The dentist's name was Sumanya Venkat Rao DDS PC.

This review is a warning for anyone looking to get dental services done please avoid this location!! I came here in August 2024 first appointment I was told I need fillings & root canal. I scheduled the first filling appointment got it done beginning of September, during the appointment the dentist said I need my wisdom teeth extracted in order for them to do root canal on the tooth in front of it for it to be done a good job… meanwhile the other dentist said they can do root canal without my wisdom teeth being removed. . I expected a little pain the first 2-3 days however I noticed consistent bleeding and severe pain as the days continued I had to go to another dental office after 2 weeks of nonstop pain and what felt like a piece of the filling chipped.
The other dental office told me one of the teeth was infected due to the filling hitting the nerve I was received antibiotics/pain killers. This place is canceled I trusted them to fix the issue they made my teeth pain worse!! Then my husband called to tell them about what I was going through the dentist Sumanya answered she was very rude and dismissive and stated racist comments towards my husband hung up the phone! I will never return to this dental office ever again I already canceled the appointment I had originally for last week due to the unprofessionalism and the dentist lack of knowledge to work on my teeth properly. UPDATE: the audacity to send letters to my home AS IF I WAS EVER COMING BACK HERE & SHAME ON THEM FOR LYING IN THE RESPONSE BOTH THE DENTIST & THE FRONT DESK REP NEED SOME TRAINING. I cancelled my appointment WEEKS AGO after my tooth had further issues from the dentist doing a POOR JOB and making racial comments to my husband during his appt.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Please delete me & my husbands info from your system & don’t ever contact us again!

Dr Sumanya is such a gem of a dentist!! Affordable, educated, and always professional!! She is very transparent on her work and pricing! I find that many dentist are con artist and she is definitely not! Highly recommend!!
