I can not express enough that the staff was wonderful and very understanding with my anxiety. From the first phone call to walking out the door. They don't take my insurance, but they did talk me through what would happen and will follow up with my insurance company . Dr. Ashley was very kind and explained everything that was going to be done .

I had a Root Canal and pain-free . Her assistant lilianna was wonderful also . They both helped ease my anxiety . The front desk ladies were very kind . Thank you so much !

Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. I underwent a Root Canal, but the pain never fully subsided. As advised, I waited six months to see if the discomfort would resolve on its own, but it persisted. I scheduled a follow-up appointment, during which the tooth was shaved down and I was prescribed antibiotics—despite there being no clear indication of an infection.

Later, I called and spoke with a staff member (I believe her name was Mariam) to ask whether I would be responsible for the cost of a re-treatment, given that the pain had been ongoing since the initial procedure. I was informed that, typically, if it’s been less than a year, the patient would not be charged. Based on that information, I scheduled the retreatment. However, the day before my appointment, the same staff member called to inform me that I would need to pay $500 out of pocket.

When I respectfully explained that this issue had existed since the original procedure, and questioned the fairness of being charged again for unresolved treatment, her only response was, “OK, have a nice day. ” I find it deeply disappointing that a practice would charge a patient for retreatment of an issue that was never fully addressed in the first place. I expected a higher level of care and accountability, and this experience has left me feeling dismissed and unsupported.

I just had to share with anyone who is searching for an Endodontist ~ Pocono Endodontics located in Stroudsburg, PA was by far the best experience overall I’ve ever had ~ We are from New York and my son who was in the area at that time was experiencing pain and needed 3 root canals!!! ~ I was so anxious about finding a dentist to treat him as soon as possible ~ From the moment I called Dr.

Gonsky’s office I knew he would be ok ~ They fit him in on an an emergency basis and were able to perform all 3 root canals in one office visit ~ All of the staff at their office that I had the pleasure of speaking to couldn’t have been nicer or more understanding of my son’s situation with being out of town ~ I am eternally grateful for their kindness and professionalism ~ Truly a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ plus rating ~ Simply the Best 🙏🏼💗

Everyone at the office was so nice, I was very nervous about a Root Canal but Dr Michael T Gonsky was great. The only pain felt was the Novocain needle. Procedure was fast. Office was clean. Only wish I had taken some pain med before to help with the pain after the Novocain wore off. Be prepared!
