I absolutely love Riccobene Family Dentistry in Cary!!! My dental assistant Jordan is amazing! She is super friendly and knowledgeable. She explains everything fully and makes your comfort her top priority. Lana Doan, DDS is the best dentist I’ve ever had in all my years and I have had a lot, moving for work many, many times.

She is fantastic, and truly puts the patient first. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for the great dental care!

Went today for my 6 month cleaning and check-up. Hailey, the assistant, was super nice and did a great job taking x-rays, never once cut into my gums. She is very personable and friendly. Barb, the hygienist, was also super nice.

She had lot of great tips and advice, is very skilled and did a great painless cleaning. I also appreciated Dr. Wahab as he gave his professional advice (which I respect), was very kind, and did not trying to badger me. So thanks for a great appointment!

★☆☆☆☆ Surprise fees on what was supposed to be a free exam and low cost deep cleaning :( I went to Riccobene Associate Cary for a routine/deep-cleaning check: First visit ("so called" free exam with x-rays): I was explicitly told the exam—including x-rays—would be free, so I agreed to the x-ray. Second visit (February 25, 2025): I decided to move forward with the deep cleaning they recommended and paid $260+ out of pocket at the front desk, based on their estimate that “most” would be covered by my insurance. Third visit (February 28, 2025): They unexpectedly charged me $70+ for the x-ray on the first visit, claiming my insurance “doesn’t cover” it—something never mentioned before.

Four months later, I received another surprise bill for $200+, stating the deep cleaning wasn’t covered—directly contradicting their original estimate (which I even have recorded). After those three visits and mounting unexpected fees, I declined further treatment—but they persistently text me to schedule appointments and warn they’ll hit me with a $50 no-show fee if I don’t cancel 24 hours in advance (their texts don’t show up in my contacts, so it’s easy to overlook and end up paying extra accidentally). If you value transparent pricing and honest communication—even for a simple exam and deep cleaning—look elsewhere, and be sure to get every cost estimate in writing before you go.
