The only reason I'm not leaving 1 star is because of a dental assistant I think her name was Becca (I hope I got her name right)?? The girl her takes payment at the front desk was also a sweet heart, everyone else makes you feel as if you're an inconvenience that you are there. They seem like they are more interested in their lunch and what they are eating then the actual patient. I was getting prepped for my surgery and they were trying to to order lunch which I don't really mind, they have to eat too but come on trying to order lunch for 25 minutes while I'm just waiting. . . . They will ignore you and talk about their personal life which is totally unprofessional right in front of a patient.

I did like Dr Merridan, I think he is a good surgeon I think he just has a hefty work load. I was also called in prescriptions antibiotics and pain meds as I just had my wisdom teeth extractioned. We got to the pharmacy an hour after we left the office and the pharmacy said they had no orders for me. My husband called the office at 2:30pm and was told the surgeon had left for the day but the prescriptions should of been sent. When he asked if she could check she said she doesn't have access only the Dr does. Said to wait and see if the pharmacy calls. We go home and wait about hour and half call the pharmacy and again no prescription had been received.

My mom called to check on me and I was crying in pain she called the office and went off on them a little because we just spent $4500 for the extraction and I was in pain. After that phone call I had a call from the pharmacist in 20 minutes that they had received the prescription and by the time we got there it would be ready. I don't know if they forgot to send it or it was just an error but that hour half before I got my medicine i was in excruciating pain and they were blaming the pharmacy. All in all I think this office is overworking their staff and doctors. The dental assistant mentioned above even told me she was on the brink of tears. All in all I think it's a mixed bag at this clinic, if you want to feel welcomed and cared for maybe this office isn't for you.

I scheduled an appointment as a new patient after recently moving to the area. A week before my visit, I completed their online paperwork, which included providing the name and contact info of my previous dentist. I assumed this was so they could obtain my dental records, including recent x-rays. However, when I arrived, I was told they would need to take new x-rays on the spot. I explained that I had x-rays done about 18 months ago and didn't want to duplicate them--especially since my insurance wouldn't cover it and I'd be stuck with a large out-of-pocket bill.

I asked if I could skip the x-rays or have my previous ones transferred. Their response was vague and unhelpful. They mentioned it might take a while, might need waivers, and generally gave the impression they didn't want to bother. This made me question why they even asked for my previous dentist's info in the first place. The entire experience felt like a setup to bill insurance unnecessarily.

I ultimately decided not to proceed with the appointment and left without rescheduling (very happy I did this after reading some other recent reviews). The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the front desk staff was kind and patient with my questions. Unfortunately, the overall practice gave off a strong money-grab vibe, and I'm very glad I chose not to move forward. I'll be finding a provider that's more transparent, ethical, and willing to work with my existing records.

I had a 3 PM appointment for today, in which I would be a new patient. I paid for parking, drove a ways there, and when I arrived- the doors were unlocked , but no one inside. I called the office , and was informed the office closed early. I took off for this appointment. I am highly disappointed.

I made an appointment as I needed work done, that was way over due. I was given an appointment within a couple of days. My consultation was the best. The front desk associate was very friendly and I did not have to provide any additional documents since I uploaded everything online. The entire nurse staff was wonderful and felt comfortable as everyone had a smile on there face. I was told from Dr.

Michelle Lee that the tooth I thought was decayed was not decayed so I did not need an extraction. Dr Lee, came into the room and gave me some n instructions on what she thought was best for me. I agreed on it. She make me feel comfortable and she answered ask of my questions. The hygienist came in right after stated that it was best that I have a cleaning done which I did. The hygienist was very nice.

Made me also feel comfortable. I've always had a fear of the dentist growing up. It was just not a great experience for me, but this office made me feel great! Let just say, I made my appointment for my next step which is to have some extractions done and I hope this process will go as smooth as my consultation. Thank you so much, Sage Dentist in Midtown for a great experience and I hope that you will have a patient for life.
