I have not been to a Dentist in about 5 years and before that even much longer, due to my anxiety level and I suffer from claustrophobia. Today (Jan8th. 2025) I visited Sewells Dental Clinic and was totally at ease without any anxiety or fear. Bibi, the receptionist at the desk, very charming lady, easy to talk with. Chantal, the assistant that did my cleaning, made me feel very relaxed, no pressure whatsoever. She is a perfect 10 in the way she was doing her job. Olivia, another assistant, very patient and a good sense of humor. I believed the other assistant was Maryam. Once again a very patient person as she was doing her scans, and worked with me to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Niaz was a pleasure to have looking after me.

Very caring and attentive. Overall my experience there was a perfect 10. For a person who have had this fear and anxiety level for so long, they certainly took care of me and made me feel comfortable. I have a follow up appointment in a week's time and I am sure my experience will be just as great. To the team at Sewells Dental, you should be proud of your commitment to patient care. Your clinic will be the #1 place for me in the future and I will certainly recommend it if the questions arises. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My follow up today Jan 15th. was again a very pleasant experience. Today I was feeling a bit anxious though. I felt the room was a bit too warm for me. They kindly turned the heat down a bit, placed a small fan to blow towards me.

Dr Niaz even offered me some juice to help me. It amazes me how much they will do to get a patient comfortable and relaxed. Thanks once again to all of you. 6 month follow up on July 2nd. 2025. Chantal as always did a fabulous job and give me some useful tips on flossing. Receptionist very pleasant and easy to talk with. I will conclude by saying I had a 5 star experience today.

Very sad to hear the practice has been changed and taken over when I booked this year's cleaning for me and my 3 kids only after I fell ill and needed to reschedule I was told if I don't pay 50 dollars over the phone I'm not welcome back . I have been seeing Dr nabi for 25 years from childhood and so have my children. Sadly the attitude of the young lady at the front desk was enough for me to cancel all of my upcoming appointments and I'll be looking for a new dentist. Bring back bibi she was such a sweet woman .

The lack of compassion or care from this new young woman is ridiculous. As a client I should of been told about this new cancelation policy at the time of booking or a reminder call should of been made like they use to do . Very disappointed I use to be such a loyal customer.

Update for below, can see photo attached. Read the message and respond accordingly. Not once did you mention the main issue of not informing me before or while I was there. You made someone sit there in silence until I left and NO ONE, Attempted to cont me once. My Mother called to cancel her appointment. Will speak tge truth and not take response to make yourselves look better. You lost a patient for life, because I can see you truly do not care. No need to respond again. If you would like I will respond as well. Here for my appointment for 2pm, it is now 2:33pm as I am writing this and sitting on the chair and no dentist. I came all the way from north york by bus. Then my mother, who's blessed day is today, brought me here and now is sitting outside waiting. I went to ask reception about how long it has been. Did not make eye contact with me while she said that the dentist is running late and not here yet.

. . . . . My brain said. WHATTTTT Not once did anyone come to me to give me an update or a message before I arrived or when I got there. They sat me down inside and left. Speak your mind when needed. After I got the response written above, I went to the back and by 1:42pm took off the sheet on my neck and walked out to the front reception. Did not make eye contact with receptionist, looked at my mom and said let's go. Before leaving in a frustrating voice, made them aware this is wrong, I will not be returning and that today is my mom's birthday, LOVE YOU MUMMY. 2 individuals were sitting there waiting, receptionist decided to speak then, but nope, not going to give you my time. I will not be going back here.

. . . In addition last year I saw emails that money was taken out from my Manulife insuranslce for Dentist, after I already completed my treatment. After 2- 4 emails and an attempt that was declined i reached out to the office and did not get any type of resolution. I will be checking those emails and if needed informing Manulife. Worst dental spot ever, I would give this 0 stars if I could. I’m surprised how people are giving 5 stars. I had my deep cleaning done for $200 but once I got in the room they fully rushed the process and did not look into it more because they had other patients not to mention they didn’t even take me in on time. . .

during my cleaning session I feel they weren’t able to fully clean all the teeth the way they were suppose to I didn’t feel satisfied for the price I paid and it was a complete waste of my money. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back in to fix this issue prior to this I gave them a call and told them the situation and I did clear this out if this was no charge and they said yes there’s no charge. So once I went in for the 2nd time the hygiene dentist had looked over and said she will do basic cleaning for 1 hour since i had deep cleaning few days ago. she pretty much flossed my teeth which I could’ve done my self. she told me an hour long process but everything was done in 20min.

Trying to charge me a second time after I had cleared this issue over the phone is poor lack of communication and coordination on the admin team please pay more attention to your patients especially in these types of situations. The negative energy and the lack of communication and negative comments from the staff to the patients is out of line. I will never come here again. Do not waste your money here or your time.
