My 3. 5 year old girl had two cavities that needed to be worked on. Of course I was a bit worried about how she’ll do since she is so young. We had a great experience. The dentist and hygienist were very efficient, calm and supporting.

Both explained things well. The procedure was done quickly and my girl left the dentist without shedding a single tear. They also were able to move her appointment to a closer date since I worried about the cavities getting bigger a bit faster than we expected. I’m very thankful and I know she’s in good hands at Smoky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry.

I would NOT recommend bringing your children to this facility for their dental needs. Front Desk is welcoming, assistants somewhat show emotion; however, the dentist himself shows no emotion towards the children, behaves very unprofessionally and is straight up rude. He should not be working at a Pediatric Dentistry. Thankfully, we will no longer be visiting here.

We didn’t have a very good experience here. The staff at the front desk was very nice & friendly. The office is decorated nicely, seems very clean, & the hygienists were very friendly too, but one of the dentists was very rude. He doesn’t seem to be very relatable to children & he was actually making my son even more nervous. My son does great & is very relaxed at our new dentist.

The dentist we saw seemed very annoyed when I asked questions or expressed any concerns. He wasn’t very easy to talk to & I didn’t feel comfortable with him doing any of the work my son needed because of his altitude & lack of patience. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day , but I’m glad we switched, we love our new dentist.

They canceled our appointment with no notice because we didn't hit the confirm button prior to our appointment. We have gone here for 8 years and have never had this before. Lately they have been over filling their schedule so the wait is ridiculous. Last appointment we waited over an hour to be seen.

Then we got canceled because they decided they weren't seeing patients a certain day. Now this. They said they would "work us in" but the wait has already been ridiculous even being scheduled, and having to wait who knows how long with kids who have special needs is not worth it.
