I was told I needed a root canal by another dentist so I booked an appointment with this practice. I don't know why this practice has bad reviews. The doctor explained everything to me, was professional and caring. He told me I was not in need of a root canal and what needed to be done. If you need a professional don't hesitate to call them.

I had HORRIBLE experiences in the past where numbing medications didn't work. . . One time I had 20, not exaggerating. . . 20 NEEDLES by another specialist. I dreaded ALL dentists! A great dentist I happened to finally be comfortable and highly pleased with, recommended South Shore Endodontics. I rescheduled multiple times because of scheduling issues, and the receptionist was very understanding and patient and gave me different appointments. I finally arrived and was so scared, even cried, due to past experiences. The whole staff made me so comfortable. . .
. . so. . . in a nutshell. . . WONDERFUL PAINLESS EXPERIENCE!!!!!😳😳😳😳😳 THROUGHOUT THE PROCEDURE I KEPT LOOKING AT DR BROWDY IN SHOCK. . I WAS READY FOR MORE WHEN DONE🤣🤣🤣 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. PS, I RARELY LEAVE REVIEWS!

Had a consultation today, filled out the form to the best of my ability and was interrogated by the dentist in front of my 77year old aunt. Normally I wouldn’t have minded had the matter not been about the part of the form where I had put that I used to drink heavily (I do not anymore). I asked the dentist I would be happy to discuss it in private wherein he then proceeded to not respect my privacy. He also kept encouraging me to answer him as if I still had that struggle.
He said it was for the anesthetic but why not ask me in private? The office was also very dirty and filled with dust. The receptionist was a wonderful woman who I hope finds a new job.

Do not recommend. I was taken advantage of in an emergency (toothache). Dr did not use my insurance approval to perform root canal instead charged me $860 plus for a pulp therapy. Now the insurance won’t approve the post and crown. I have to pay an additional $1200 out of pocket.
This is not nice, I’ll make sure this gets reported. Taking advantage of the situation by saying he is not comfortable performing a root canal. In addition I was treated poorly and my jaw hurt for 2 weeks due to the rough handling. I was being pulled and tugged without a care in the world.
