horrible horrible service ! I had to stopped by TWICE to get my teeth removed for orthodontic purposes (braces) and got told they couldn't take me because i didnt have a referral the first time and the second time they told me they needed an xray. A referral is understandable however no one told me about an xray copy having to physically be there considering we stopped by before hand AND we called two hours before the appointment just to make sure all the papers were faxed over and everything was set. No one told us that they also needed an xray, or else they would not be able to continue with the procedure. I also made an appointment at 4:30, and i waited an hour before seeing her just so she can tell me "i am waiting for you because i close at 5. " horrible a waste of my time! a horrible.

rude. terrible. place.

I wouldn’t go here . For one the place is dirty . I went for a cleaning and had to use a water bottle I brought with me to rinse my mouth. The dentist didn’t hear nor car about anything I was telling her in reference to my mouth problems .

Then when I needed a preauthorization for my medication. She tried to switch it to something I didn’t take so she didn’t have to do the work . Then told me I didn’t need the medicine since I didn’t pick it up yet ! She should be closed ! And I’m reporting her to the state for Malpractice and a bunch of other regulations she is violating.

Had a horrible toothache and needed an emergency extraction. After getting denied by a bunch of places, she told me to come in right away. From the time I called Star Dental until my tooth was pulled, it was only an hour and 15 minutes. So grateful!!

Just left from my first and most likely my last appointment here (at 3 pm on Nov 8th 2023). Had an experience here that I have never in my life dealt with at a dentists office before. The work she did on the chip in my left front tooth was great. . . after much confusion and me having to tell her 3 times to examine my left front tooth better. Then she moved onto the cleaning . . . that is where it all went horribly downhill. I am pretty sure that their spit receptical in that room wasn't working and was broken because the water wasn't running in it at all. As she is cleaning my teeth my mouth was filling up with water and she had the suction hook in my cheek but it wasn't really doing anything because it was to high in my mouth. She wasnt using it to drain the liquid. After swallowing 3 or 4 large mouthfulls of tooth cleaner, plaque and water I didnt want to swallow any more (its actually quite bad for your health). .

. . my mouth was completely filled and spilling out down onto myself, all over my sweater. I asked to spit. . she said I didnt need to. I was very confused and pointed at the spit receptical and asked if it was her spit receptical to which she said no. (?what?) She wouldnt let me use it and I was being forced to swallow all the liquid in my mouth over and over. if i didnt it was spilling out all over the front of me to the point it soaked the front of my shirt. I became upset but entirely composed. I just wanted to stay as still as possible and get it over with while liquid is cascading out of my mouth. She asked what she could do and i said when my mouth is completely fully you are suppoosed to let me spit it out. i have never had this happen to me ever in a dentists and have been going my whole life" she said again I didnt need to and it was some water from the hose that the drain would suck out. . I started sputtering on the mouth full of liquid it went up my nose which made me feel like I was literally drowning.

At that point she touched the cleaning tool to the rest of my teeth very quickly and said she was done. Leaving the left half of my teeth mostly uncleaned and still with tartar. I got up shell shocked and just so at a loss for words that I asked if she needed anything from me. She said no so I left. Mortified by what had just happened. Immediately called my insurance company and filled a greivance. Both for the spit recepital being broken and her literally forcing me to drown or swallow and because the cleaning that she provided when I said something about feeling like I was drowning. . . . she left undone. Half of my mouth is not finished being cleaned. Now I have to wait to find out if to have it finished I will need to pay out of pocket to have it redone somewhere else. Weirdest and most unpleasant experience I have ever had at the dentist.
