Honestly, Tribeca dental studio is a misnomer since it does not do it justice: it’s a mini full-service dental hospital. In that sense, the plain clear-window store front also does not do it justice because their two floors are filled with a slew of offices, surreally modern equipment, its own operating room, its own imaging lab, etc. I came cautiously and only because my very reserved endodontist surprisingly insisted that I should give TDS a try: during the last 6 years, I had two acute Covids, then a long-term one, then multiple strokes that left me in a wheelchair and on anticoagulants for life… So, had these 6 years not killed my smile (leaving me with two cracked teeth on top and two on the bottom, plus a diastema fit for Halloween), I would not even think of trying anything out of sheer fear of dying due to a loss of blood or another stroke while my teeth and gums are being salvaged. Now, I am so delighted I gave them a try!!! They have dental specialists of every type (it’s a one-stop shop), and each Dr has his/her own personality that shines through (without any plasticky politeness or patronizing attitude that we all dread): each of them radiates a perfect mix of confidence, friendliness, experience, humor, care (all without syrupy compassion), and they are matter-of-factly honest about what and how things can (and cannot) be done, and how much each step would cost: no used-car-salesman pitches here.

I talked with Igor (Dr. Chikunov, prosthodontist), Sam (Dr. Morhaim, periodontal surgeon), and Nina (Dr. Izhaky, general dentist) at length (btw, they are incredibly generous with their time: not to run up a bill but so that to not cut corners), and each of them is a star in his/her own right.

Halina, the nurse, fills the room with calm and dedication, Leslie (the office administrator) is pure sunshine and as responsible and reliable as you can only dream of, and so on. My first (mini) surgery is scheduled in less than a month (designed, on my request, to verify that I am not destined to die on an operating table), and I’m no longer thinking that I should probably draft a will. I am hoping to write glorious follow-ups and can honestly say I am so grateful to my otherwise-so-reserved endodontist for this recommendation!

I would like to thank staff of Tribeca dental studio for their phenomenal work in making my visit pleasant and stress free. I was seen by Dr. Sam for an implant placement, I was a bit worried as I had a bad past experience elsewhere. And was looking for a dental office where all of the providers work together. Dr. Sam and his assistant Malik made we feel like family. Everything was explained of what I will feel and exactly what is being done. I was given all the instructions of my post treatment. Dr.

Sam is the best surgeon I have ever been to ,the procedure took literally 15 minutes with a blink of an eye. Leslie made sure my medications were sent to my pharmacy on time. Dr. Sam has reached out to me personally to see how I was feeling. I would highly recommend Dr. Sam and Tribeca Dental Studio for all of your dental needs. A place where everything can be done under one roof.
