Been going here since the late 80’s. Not the same place it once was. Dr Schwartz is no longer the main dentist here. He built a great place and it is slowly declining. He was/is caring and compassionate. He would cut prices to help people out of the kindness of his heart-out of his pocket no less. He called patients “off the clock” to see how they are doing. Some of my current problems are below.

I just to pay out of pocket for a root canal at an endodontist because the dentist here missed a canal and I was in excruciating pain. I had additional dental work done that the front desk assured me was covered because they checked with the insurance company and confirmed I was good to go. That was incorrect, I am now in a repayment plan for that work. The billing department said it was my problem and that just because the front desk got everything approved by insurance does not mean it’s going to be covered? Explain that one to me. It is sad. Lastly, on the same tooth that they missed the canal on something is currently wrong with it. Bacteria is getting in and causing an awful smell when I use a water pick to clean. I’m suffering with it until I can get into the new dentist because I don’t want to go back and get charged for more things.

There’s even more to it, but I guess it’s not appropriate to put on the Internet. I will say that many of the dentists that are there now are Schwarts’s family. Not all of them are to his level of skill,care or compassion. I cannot speak about every dentist there though. I’m sure some of them are excellent. Feel hugely betrayed and dissatisfied.

This place has gone down hill since dr Schwartz left… the front staff is rude and they don’t greet. . you go to check out and they have to finish texting on their phone before they even look up to speak to you. I’ve had missed appts and I never signed anything about fees being added yet I have to pay… I work in the field I know exactly how this works.

LEGALLY no one should charge you for anything you didn’t sign. . AGAIN I WORK IN THE FIELD I KNOW HOW THIS WORKS And I haven’t signed off on anything explaining fees for missed appointments… check my chart ;)
