About
Dr. Goodall has lived in North Carolina for most of her life, and has been a resident of Cary for many years. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from NC State University in 1991, and went to work as a Software Engineer at IBM. While at IBM, she worked in both the Hardware and Software Divisions as a software developer, a project manager, and an Advisory Development Manager. During this time, she also completed a Masters in Engineering from NC State University. After a fulfilling career at IBM, she decided to pursue an interest in healthcare, and applied to dental school. Dr. Goodall completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and now continues to reside in Cary, where she can apply her strong problem-solving background to determining the best solution for each patient's smile. Dr. Goodall is a gentle and caring dentist, always interested in providing the best possible care for each patient she has the opportunity to serve. She is known for her friendly smile and happy demeanor. Recognizing that “doctor” means “teacher”, Dr. Goodall believes her role as educator of patients is the most important role she plays in the dental office. Dr. Goodall enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and feels most fully rewarded when she helps provide need-based dental care via opportunities such as the NC Missions of Mercy Free Dental Clinics for impoverished people throughout North Carolina, the NC Baptist Men's Dental Bus at local churches and the State Fair, and for locally sponsored orphans from around the world. Since Dr. Goodall recently gained a new sister-in-law from the Ukraine, she has a special place in her heart for a group of orphans sponsored by a local church, and provides dental care for several children from this area of the world. As a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Raleigh Wake County Dental Society, and the American Association of Women Dentists, Dr. Goodall regularly attends continuing education classes to keep up-to-date with the latest research and techniques so she can provide her patients with the best care possible. Dr. Goodall has for nearly 20 years been happily married to Bill Goodall, a Senior Electrical and Computer Engineer with Qualcomm. Together they reside in Cary Park with their 3 children: William, age 16, Ian, age 14, and Catherine, age 11. The Goodall's are active members of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary.
