About
Dr. Howard grew up on Long Island, New York where he attended Hofstra University on a football scholarship. After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Hofstra, Dr. Howard attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. A residency at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in Public Health followed graduation from Tufts. As an educator, Dr. Howard was a faculty member of Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in Boston for twelve years, earning appointments in the Dept. of Restorative Dentistry and the Dept. of Oral Diagnosis. Dr. Howard serves as the team dentist for the Durham Bulls Baseball team, the USA World Cup Soccer Team, and Panther Creek High School. Dr. Howard has been married to his wife Katherine for 28 years, and they have been blessed with six children: David, Rachel, Michelle, Stephen, Elizabeth, and Grace. The Howard's have made North Carolina their home since 2005.
