About
Dr. Diana Ticlavilca-Acuna is a North Carolina transplant from both of the "K" states, Kentucky and Kansas. Having graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Kansas in 2013, Dr. Acuna went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2017. She was drawn to North Carolina due to its geographic beauty and the ability to experience not only the Blue Ridge Mountains but also the beautiful Atlantic Ocean coast. Dr. Acuna began working with Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in mid-2019 as a General Dentist in our Triad Area locations. Outside of the office, Dr. Acuna enjoys spending time with her Winston-Salem friends, and face-timing with her mom, stepdad, Grandma, and Gizmo (her parent's dog who has a closet of clothes bigger than most humans!). She also has a great love of Kansas Pro teams, especially her Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks & cheers them on as often as possible. Dr. Acuna loves staying active and is consistently taking different classes such as Cardio Barre at her local gym. She also volunteers at different local clinics like the NC MOM (Missions of Mercy) dental clinic and the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission.
