About
Dr. Petrola grew up in the small town of Steubenville, Ohio and earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the Miami University of Ohio. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Petrola has a passion for all aspects of general dentistry including preventative care, patient education and esthetic treatments. He is committed to providing his patients with the highest possible level of dental care, easing dental anxieties and helping patients reach their dental treatment goals. Dr. Petrola is a member of both the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. His interests include traveling the world with his wife, UNC basketball, Steelers football, cooking, running and spending time with his 2 cats and pup. He currently resides in Winston Salem with his wife, Dr. Katie Petrola, who is also a UNC trained dentist who provides dental care to the veteran population at the Veterans Affairs Health Center in Kernersville. Dr. Petrola is honored to be joining the team at UDA and is looking forward to help serve the surrounding community.
