About
Dr. Gardner Meek was raised in Elkin, North Carolina and returned to his hometown in 2012 after completing dental school. Dr. Meek completed his undergraduate studies at Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, Virginia with a major in Biology. He then attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry where he not only earned his dental degree, but also met his wife, Dr. Lauren Meek. With a passion for giving back to his community, Dr. Meek moved back to Elkin and spent the first five years of his career splitting time between a private practice office and a rural dental clinic, followed by two years of full-time private practice dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Blue Ridge Dental Society - the last of which he served as President for three years. Dr. Meek prides himself on developing comforting relationships with his patients while providing the highest quality of comprehensive dental care. Outside of the office, his life centers around his wife, Lauren, their son, James, and the rest of their family. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, and hiking.
