About
Dr. James Hicks is from the Atlanta area, but was blessed to find his way to the Upstate in 2012. Dr. Hicks has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years and is proud to call Upstate South Carolina home.Dr. Hicks returned to school after a previous career and obtained a DMD degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2012. In 2022 Dr. Hicks joined SC Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry as the sole provider of general, surgical and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Hicks has extensive experience serving patients of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on problem solving.Dr. Hicks enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and being an active member of Covenant United Methodist Church. He also enjoys gardening, College football, and classic cars from the sixties and seventies. Dr. Hicks is an active member of the South Carolina Dental Association.
