About
Dr. Green is a surgeon, educator, and author of many professional publications. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery as well as the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is fellowship trained in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is Double board certified specifically to perform Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery as well as the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition to these accomplishments Dr. Green served in many roles over two decades in the US Navy: Assistant Professor, Associate Program Director and Educator for the US Navy in the fields of complex facial reconstruction for our nations wounded warriors and other service members as well as veterans with Head and Neck Cancer. He has Cosmetic Surgery Procedures Certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions. Dr. Green lectures both domestically and internationally with previous trips to China as well as Australia, and Saudi Arabia. He has presented at dozens of meetings, written multiple articles and book chapters. He has previously held academic appointments at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
