Dr. Iyer is an exceptionally talented Board-Certified Oral Maxillofacial surgeon with five years of private practice experience. She is particularly focused in the areas of dental implants, pathology, and dento-alveolar as well as orthognathic surgery. She received her Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the University of Texas Health Science Centers School of Medicine, and completed her residency as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same facility. Prior to that she obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at University of Pennsylvania.Dr. Iyer was initially drawn to medicine to work with and help other people, a quality that is clearly demonstrated by her warm and compassionate personality.
