I was having major tooth pain and needed a dentist for a Sunday appointment (I filled out a form on Saturday). Instead of getting a call, I played phone tag with the anwering service. Today, Monday, i was finally able to speak with someone. I need help with my teeth, but my insurance hasn't kicked in yet. Instead of chatting with me about payment plans or what comes next, I was hung up on. I was also told that my insurance is out of network and would have to file claims with the insurance myself to get reimbursement.

I wasn't yelling or loud. I was just curious because dental work is expensive and I had questions. I am able to pay for it but i knew i needed extensive work. I work in customer service and I know that first impressions are everything. Thier first impression makes me search for dental care elsewhere.

Unprofessional and Disorganized – Avoid This Office! If I could give zero stars for the front desk staff, I would. My appointment was at 4:00 PM, and I arrived early at 3:45 PM, having already completed my paperwork. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, showing no interest in providing even basic customer service. After checking in and providing my ID and insurance, I was told to sit. The waiting area was overcrowded, so I stood until space cleared out. Fast forward to 5:00 PM, and I still hadn’t been called.

When I finally asked for an update, the three receptionists looked confused, as if they had no idea I even existed. The same receptionist who checked me in suddenly realized the mistake and sprinted to the back without saying a word. No apology, no explanation—just complete incompetence. As I waited even longer, the office started blasting explicit music from YouTube—totally unprofessional for a medical setting. Finally, I was called in. Thankfully, the nurses and doctor were wonderful, professional, and apologetic for the front desk’s incompetence.

If I could rate them separately, they’d get five stars. To top it all off, after my appointment, I received a call from another dentist returning my inquiry. I was thrilled… until they told me their address: 142 Joralemon Street 6E—THE SAME PLACE! Smh. Save your time, your patience, and your sanity—go somewhere else!

About 10 months ago I came in to Brooklyn Dental with excruciating pain and severe infection. With the help of Dr. Amirian and his wonderful team, I was able to get 4 teeth replaced with the support of 2 implants. And let me tell you guys this have been one of the best decisions I've made in my life. My smile is so much nicer, I feel so much more confident in my self. It has been a journey, but it was a journey worth taking.

And if I have too , I would definitely do it again. So to anyone out there that's going through any type of pain or discomfort in their mouth please do not hesitate to reach out to the folks at Brooklyn Dental, you would not regret it. Once again a million 👍 to Dr. Amirian and his team. Love you all!!!!!!
