Dr. Ivan Tucakove and his team were fantastic with my daughter's dental treatment. From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. Dr. Tucakove was very patient and gentle, explaining everything to my daughter and making her feel comfortable. The clinic is clean and modern, and we felt very well cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Tucakove for children's dental care.

Complete crook. Going to be vague on some of the specifics but went in with issue on one tooth, preliminary examination showed one problem, but that everything else "looked good". I'm called later and told multiple teeth have problems that were never brought up initially. I asked about the disparity and just got "you need it" as an answer. (Was receiving public benefits, which plays into this). I was called the wrong name repeatedly, freezing was administered, I had not had freezing for many years so did not realize I'd be completely incapable of speech but no chance to ask questions, nothing.

The number of procedures done at once, upon speaking to a reputable dentist, was very odd. Very surly assistant who was on his phone when the Dr left the room (didn't see if he changed gloves after handling phone but I doubt it). Oh yes, so the Dr is "so kind" to take benefits patients. . . what you don't see is he books 3-4 appts at once, all day nonstop, so he can make up the minimal pay.

I highly suspect he is finding "problems" that don't exist so he can jack up what he bills the province too. DO NOT SEE THIS DENTIST. I should've taken the other reviews seriously. Some of the other staff are okay, it's nothing personal against them, but he's a quack.

Felt my entire wisdom teeth removal. Had become traumatic memory/flashback 3 years later. Now my teeth are always in excruciating pain, and everything makes it worse. I use to love the dentist, now I’m scared. I was an ODSP patient as well. This man is a scam. Ivan shouldn’t be a Dr.

He is a scam artist. I am reporting him to odsp and figuring out further legal actions. Don’t go to him, and if you did and had the same experience as us. Look into reporting. Your experience was valid. Your pain was valid.

I was a returning patient who had a denture made by this office in the past and was so disappointed to see how downhill things had gone. I called the office for an appt in regards to a second opinion on a denture reline that I believed at the time was botched by another denturist. I made it clear to reception this is what I was booking for. I waited well over an hour for my appt time. In that time 2 new patients walked out angry. I was brought into a room and staff starts doing a full dental work up on me along with x-rays. I kept telling staff I am here for my denture. I can appreciate he might want to have the best info possible however he did not even look at my denture.

I went to put it in and he says it's probably not staying in because of how you are inserting it. He examines my mouth and says I have numerous cavities and need 2 root canals. I had a panoramic x-ray in May and a cleaning/exam in July so I was questioning if that was true. I wound up walking out w/o booking follow ups because they had wasted so much of my time and didn't even address the issue. The next day I had my dentist request x-rays from this office because I knew I had a cleaning coming up. They never sent him the x-rays. Yesterday I saw my regular dentist. He repeated the x-rays and I have absolutely no cavities just stains.

He couldn't figure out for the life of him why he said I needed root canals when x-ray are fine and there's no pain. I have a full top denture and a bottom partial. All of my missing teeth were root canal treated by Dr Tucakov and eventually needed to be pulled. None of these teeth ever caused pain so now I am wondering if they had to be done to begin with. As it turns out yes my reline was botched in a way that's totally inappropriate and actually shocking to my new denturist.
