It breaks my heart a little to have to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star, but when you are treated as poorly as I was today by both Dr. Jose Arroyo and Sandra, I have no choice. I had been coming to Dr. Arroyo for 6 or 7 years for every dental issue I had. I had been quite fond of the whole office and had always been respectful, kind, and flexible with them. Today, out of the blue, when I call to confirm an appointment, staff member Sandra gets nasty with me, all of a sudden speaking to me with anger and hate, interrupting, insulting and, ultimately, lying several times both to me and about me regarding this appointment. I requested to speak to Dr. Arroyo about what had happened. He spent today dodging and refusing phone calls, and has told the staff that he was explicitly refusing to speak to me on the phone about the matter.
Again, a patient for 6 or 7 years, always had a 100% positive relationship with them. Never asked to speak to him before about anything. Treated like this. So now I give the full report: Often, I had to wait 6+ weeks for an appointment, even when I had a seriously chipped tooth and in pain. My most recent appointment I was on-time (as with all my appointments) but had to wait 45 minutes. There were literally no other patients in the office. Frequently, Dr. Arroyo's dental work would break after a few days, and I would have to come back to fix the poor work (i. e.
a filling chipped 2 days after it was done etc. ). The front desk has twice had difficulty with basic confirmation of my dental insurance. His office doesn't respond to their posted office email whatsoever. Front desk is, on occasion, truly nasty and insulting to patients. I would strongly recommend you take you and your children's dental needs elsewhere. There are several other good options with 1 mile of this unprofessional office.

He is an excellent dentist. My whole family has been going here for many years and now my own family will be going too. I couldn’t have chosen a better dentist. I highly recommend him. Staff is friendly and what I love most is that its Christ centered!!!

beware! I came for a cleaning since it was close to my house and they took my insurance about six months ago. He told me there was no issues. Only told me one crown was loose and if it came off to come see him. Six months later, when I went to another dentist for a more thorough exam and cleaning, they told me that I need to take the tooth out because an infection got under the crown and it had rotten.
It should not have been left loose. Because of one bad cleaning/ non professionalism of this dentist, I will lose the tooth unfortunately.

I had an appointment at 2 o’clock and I was running a little late. I arrive there at 2:10 but when I get there the door is locked. Doctor comes to open the door and I say thank you but he just doesn’t say anything, turns around and leaves. I go up to the front desk lady and she doesn’t notice me for 3 whole minutes. When she finally noticed me, she tells me I’m too late that the doctor only waits 10 min and that I have to reschedule.
At this point it was 2:13pm so I told her that there was time killed from me waiting to have the door open and that I did get here at 2:10. She goes to ask the doctor and he comes out angry saying that I actually arrived at 2:11 and he only waits 10 minutes. So for one extra minute I have to reschedule (which I’m not going to). Super rude and unprofessional all around I do not recommend coming here.
