I am a new patient. I called on Monday in June and asked to see if they accepted my insurance and new patients. They said yes and I got an appointment for the next day for an exam and xrays. I then saw the dentist and he recommended three teeth to be extracted and then a cleaning. Well let's skip ahead four weeks and I have already had the three teeth removed and my cleaning is scheduled for next week. I am amazed at how quickly and efficiently this business works.

From the two receptionists to the X-ray lady to the dentist to the oral surgeon, I must admit that they are definitely an organized dental office. They are also very friendly which is a nice side effect. Even when the girl calls to confirm my next appointment she is a pleasure to talk to. I give five stars to everyone that works here. Thank you for taking care of my teeth.

I haven't thought about this place for so long, but I just watched a youtube video about a woman saying she lost her teeth when she got pregnant (and how pregnancy doesn't decalcify teeth at all) and the memories came flooding back about my experience at this dentist! My insurance chose this place as my default dentist when I got pregnant. When I went here for a cleaning, they examined me and told me devastating news: they found 6 or 7 cavities on the x-ray, and I needed several teeth PULLED IMMEDIATELY. They gave me an estimate in the THOUSANDS and told me not to worry about it, because my insurance would pay for the whole thing. The dentist himself gave me super weird vibes; my body recoiled when he came around me (I don't know why). The receptionists in the front all had attitudes and ignored clients. They reminded me of prison guards but with hair and nails freshly done. The waiting room experience was very uncomfortable; it made me feel like sick livestock crammed into a holding pen. I left that appointment spiraling at the thought of losing my teeth.

My world was caving in. I shut down completely, and just pretended like it never happened. The next time I went to a dentist it was like a year later. I was petrified. I didn't want to confront the reality of having half my mouth toothless. But they told me something that shocked me. . .

there was NOTHING WRONG WITH MY TEETH!!! No cavities, no teeth needing to be pulled 🤯. I was dumbfounded. What??? Teeth don't just heal?? It turns out that "Dental Health Associates" on livingston ave was just trying to rip off my insurance AT MY EXPENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱 It has been 7 years since this happened to me and my heart still drops through my chest at the thought of how close I was to being mutilated and permanently altered!!!! If I would have made the followup appointment, my mouth would have been pulled apart and my healthy teeth - which do NOT grow back - would have been ripped out of my head. It just makes me want to cry, and run into their waiting room and tell everyone to GET OUT AND RUN 😭💔 Worst experience of my life, they are running a scam at clients' expense. And how can anyone prove it when they can just say "oh, the x-ray is easy to misinterperet". But at the time of my appointment they were pretty d*mn certain that my teeth needed to be pulled ASAP! Thank GOD I left and never came back. Thank God 🙏🏻

ABYSMALLY terrible at answering their phones. You could get through to the President of Kenya quicker than you'll get through to these people. If you're gonna be 5 minutes late or less, don't even waste your time trying to call. Otherwise, the staff are very nice and personable, and the service is professional as expected.

It's worth the tradeoff for me. Highly recommend - if you don't mind leaving a lot of voicemails.

Dr. Baron is an amazing Oral surgeon. He did my wisdom teeth removal and extracted another tooth. He is STELLAR at his job as well as his Assistants. I was so scared going in today 6/11/25 for my extraction but once I saw Dr. Baron I knew I’d be in good hands. he is quick with it!!! Even made me laugh during the procedure. Love the team at Dental Health Associates in NB.
