My daughter came from a bad experience at another place it felt good to be welcomed with care. From the moment we walked in until the time we left we felt cared for. I’m not even sure how diamond Braces received 4. 8 stars. If I could give them zero I would. Be prepared to see multiple Orthodontist which will prolong your treatment. In my case I saw 5 different orthodontists (that had different visions as to how they will achieve a healthy smile) in the 5 LONG years that I was with Diamond Braces. Apparently this is a normal thing as I spoke to not one but two people who used diamond braces and experienced the very same thing as me or even worse (having a minor case but forced into braces for 10 years). They have a high turnover rate that leads to patients not only paying more money for extended treatments but dental complications. I’m paying a HEFTY amount elsewhere for their mistakes. Even after ruining my teeth, they expected me to pay extra money. Please be aware.

I should have went elsewhere upon hearing that they killed my sister’s two front teeth at the Staten Island location but I was so eager to get braces and they were in network with my insurance. It also doesn’t help that Dr. Drut (the owner) is a walking joke and seldomly is in any of his locations. His former employees that I’ve spoken to can attest to that. Please be careful. Diamond braces has also had lawsuits against them for hiring orthodontists that aren’t certified. All in all the best Orthodontist I saw at Diamond Braces was Dr. Kim. I wish he would have been my orthodontist from the very first day as he was diligent and attentive. Unfortunately for both of us, he was my last orthodontist I saw at Diamond Braces out of many and at that point, the damage from seeing so many inexperienced orthodontist had already been done.

Word of advice: don’t go to Diamond Braces and ESPECIALLY don’t go if you need any oral surgery. They don’t even have the proper equipment to do a 3D X-ray to ensure my roots are in the same place for surgery. I was sent to my oral surgeon’s office multiple times for 2 years because they had the equipment that Diamond Braces lacked. Remember people, multiple practices doesn’t equal quality service. McDonald’s also has multiple restaurants too. There’s a reason why the braces are on the cheaper end. You will pay more with your health or money later down the line.

The experience here was wonderful. I have been wanting to get Braces and have been looking for a good doctor for a long time. Dr. Kim is so wonderful and did an amazing job. Manager Alona spent several hours with us and made sure everything went well. I recommend it for everyone!
