We have been going to Doc braces for over 8 months and they have been extremely kind and informative during the appointments. They check in with my daughter during the appointment and make sure she's comfortable and content throughout.

The wonderful Doctor and staff make the environment an amazing experience everytime. The improvement we've seen in her teeth and confidence with smiling is all thanks to Doc Braces!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Docbraces Waterloo! We spoke to Krista who answered the phone, and she was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We also spoke to the manager, Mandy. She went above and beyond to help us with my son’s retainer which no longer fit due to an incoming wisdom tooth.

With Ritebite closing, he isn’t even technically a patient of Docbraces, but they treated us as if he had been going there all along. We would highly recommend Docbraces Waterloo!

I’ve had braces for about a year now and they’ve been wonderful. The service and workers are really kind and caring. The braces themselves are nice, comfortable and work really good; I’ve seen a lot of improvement over the last year and I’m excited to take them off in the following spring. I’ve had a good experience with using braces thanks to DocBraces and the workers.

They also give me dental cleaning things like toothbrushes and toothpaste. There are so many other good things I could say about DocBraces, highly recommended.

As an adult patient, my experience here was extremely disappointing. While they are kind and accommodating to parents bringing in their children or teens, I was treated with consistent disrespect. Scheduling was nearly impossible if you have a job, there was little to no flexibility, and staff were often outright rude. Any time I had a question or concern, especially about costs or care, I was met with defensiveness. For example, after my braces were removed, I was suddenly told I needed to pay for additional wires when the cement disappeared, despite being told previously that everything was included in the amount I had already paid. When I calmly questioned this, the front desk staff immediately asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, even though I wasn’t raising my voice.

It felt like an attempt to shut down the conversation rather than resolve it. When I had the braces on and a bracket broke and began cutting into my mouth, I had to wait four weeks for an appointment. The pain was real, but I was told I was overreacting. I explained that the bracket had broken just a few hours after the appointment, while eating a veggie burger—not something hard or sticky. But staff responded dismissively, as if I was lying or exaggerating. I was repeatedly blamed, and they still refused to fit me back in.

This clinic may be a good fit if you’re a teen or a parent bringing in your child. But for adult patients who expect to be treated with basic respect and transparency, I cannot recommend them. I have never been spoken to or treated like this in any other professional setting.
