Recently switched to Gentry Dental. The team did a great and thorough job with my cleaning as well as multiple fillings I had to get. They make you feel at ease and that you’re in good hands. Couldn’t ask for much more.

**PSA -- PLEASE READ** Unfortunately, Dr. Heather Gentry provided a very negative and dishonest medical experience. The two major points I'd like to touch on is the necessity of the work she recommended, and the integrity with which the office operates. 1. Dr. Gentry recommended an extensive amount of work. At first I thought she was simply being thorough, however after getting several other opinions, it appears I was being upsold. I strongly encourage anyone who gets evaluated by Dr.

Gentry get at least one other opinion (outside of her network), to make sure the work being recommended is, indeed, necessary. 2. I'll spare you the long version, but essentially I was promised to have my appointment remain scheduled until a certain date while attempts to sort out my insurance were being made. Dr. Gentry decided roughly two weeks before my appointment that there was no way my insurance would be sorted by the agreed upon date, and canceled my appointment without actually talking with me. Guess what? My insurance got back in touch that same day. My appointment, however, was already gone. This leads me to believe there was somebody else she deemed more more valuable already on standby that they needed space for.

She didn't apologize, or even bother to reach out personally. Mind you I live four hours away, and rescheduling is no easy task. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it gave me time to get second opinions about her aforementioned recommendations. I liked Dr. Gentry as a person when we met, but I have serious questions about the values on which her business is built.

I had a checkup at Gentry and was constantly being upsold on a number of offerings they had. I understand it's a business; however, they charged me upwards of $300 for the visit with my insurance paying for a portion. I paid them for their lackluster services (no treatment just evaluation), and 2 years later I've received a call from a collections agency claiming I owe $300+ to them.

I've paid this! Please check your records and remove my name from your collections list. I do not recommend this place at all! My other provider, with whom I currently still see, does not charge me close to this amount with the same insurance, and I get regularly treated there.

As a new patient I was extremely pleased that my expectations were surpassed! Clean, inviting office. Kind & professional staff. On time. Hygienist Lauren was AWESOME. Not only at her job but at answering all of my questions while being patient & thoughtful. Then I met with Dr Gentry; she took her time, left me feeling well informed and that I knew I had found my new dentist. HIGHLY recommend.
