I have been without health care for a long time now , I just couldn't afford to go on a normal basis, and I was told about healing hand I was accepted very quickly, I call because of a tooth ack, I had to unfortunately get it pulled before I got in but that was my fault not there's, but I love this place , I am now in the medical already had test done that you need yearly, I'm now waiting on eye exams, it's pretty busy but I'm confident I will be in as soon as they can , my husband is now going to make his first appointment, I told him they all are the best and they all care about the patient, I'm so fortunate to be able to get the care I need now , these guys and galls are the best , thank you all and to who ever opened this place , thank you , without you and your workers peaple like me and my husband would be without care !!

Strawberry Jam

I’ve been coming here for years and I appreciate them doing what they’ve done for me in the past as far as dental work. When Dr. Christian was there it was great. But the past two or three times it has been rough. I went for a dental cleaning and they literally tortured me, the dental student who was cleaning my teeth stabbed under my gums with wires for over two hours. Her instructor kept telling her that she missed spots. Finally I told them no more.

Then I went to have a cavity filled and come to find out the tooth was way too decayed for a filling, it should have been pulled. They almost had to drill out the entire tooth and the filling overlaps another tooth so i can’t get under it to floss. This most recent time I went for a cleaning, the dental hygienist I saw was not a student and she was SO rude. She kept getting irritated at me for the way my head was turned and she talked down to me like I was stupid just because I told her that I use the floss picks instead of traditional dental floss. She said those were only meant to dislodge food. That’s odd considering Dr. Christian told me that’s all he uses when he was there.

When the dentist walked in she told him that she “coached” me on how to properly floss. It made me feel like a child. I’m almost 40 years old, I know how to floss my teeth. I mean I know they use students and that it’s a service for low income folks with no dental insurance but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be treated respectfully.

I have chose healing hands health center because they actually helped me with my diabetes and medications. Thank God for the workers and the funding. Staff is really nice and seem to care about your well being.

For those of YOU that don't know. . I'm here to inform you: ANY AND ALL Nurses, Doctors, Dental Hygienists, ect HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE- THIS IS THEIR SOMEWHERE . . . all of these graduate students are licensed to practice, they are just simply required to "volunteer" their time to various causes. So, that being said. .

. . THESE HIGHLY TRAINED PROFESSIONALS ARE GREAT AT WHAT THEY DO. THESE ARE YOUR NEW AND UPCOMING DENTISTS ECT. . . give them a shot!
