Detailed Introduction

Ingram & Daugherty Orthodontists is a well-established dental practice focusing on Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. The clinic operates from at least two locations in Pennsylvania: 921 S Forge Rd, Palmyra, PA 17078, and 710 S 12th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. The practice name, "Ingram & Daugherty Orthodontists," suggests a partnership of orthodontists, specifically mentioning Dr. Stephen Ingram Jr, DMD, and Dr. Warren Daugherty, DMD, among their practitioners. Beyond specialized orthodontic care, which aims to correct misaligned teeth and jaws, they also offer general dental services. These services include routine dental care such as fillings, check-ups, cleaning, crowns, and veneers. This comprehensive approach allows patients to address both their general oral health needs and specific orthodontic concerns in one place. The clinic aims to help patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles through a range of modern dental and orthodontic treatments. While specific patient reviews were not extensively found in the search results, the presence of multiple locations and a comprehensive service offering indicates a professional and dedicated practice in the field of orthodontics.

The service was good but they are WAY overbooked by 8 weeks. That is tough if you have a sick kid who needs to reschedule. That adds TWO MONTHS if you ever need to move an appointment.

My teeth are now a lot nicer and even! I've never been to another orthodontist so I have nothing to compare, however these folks were great enough I'll prolly just go back if I ever need to again! I liked the kind and friendly atmosphere and their nice simple building that wasn't big and fancy like some others.

The last I knew they were still picky about the whole covid thing but that's something everyone looks at differently so suit yourself!

Apparently at 51 years of age I am not with their time to get Braces. Oh I have them on and they are certainly billing me. But the one Dr. lit me up yesterday, September 21, 2022. Asked me “why, at my age do I have braces?” I thought he was joking. I replied “ on my bucket list…”. He said, “no, seriously, this is going to be a lot of work and not worth his time.

” I was speechless. He sired me he can get the teeth fixed, but just thought it silly, at my age to get braces. You like taking my money for your services, don’t you? Then he made reference to how bad he felt that I am a Truck Driver. Almost like I could do better?! Friend, I lost over 50 pounds, am an positive influence to many people and have immense career satisfaction both technically and financially. I hope he finds peace ☮️ n his life. Until then, stop talking it out on your patients.

Prepare for a lecture from the non-clinical front office staff if anything goes wrong with your child’s orthodontia. Any breaks of retainers or appliances turn into a lecture that attempt to make you and your child feel like a problem. Then there will be sighing and complaining about how busy they are and that there is no time to get them in for a repair. Then you can hear about the cost of fixing said damage, that likely isn’t your kids fault “they can’t bite on their retainer or it breaks. ” Well it lives in the child’s mouth with their teeth so yes, the kid will bite it sometimes. It should be made to withstand that.

🤦‍♀️ And heaven forbid you ever need to reschedule an appointment, that is also a lot of inconvenience for the front office staff and ‘impossible to find a spot but if it goes out too long and the new appliance doesn’t fit, you’ll be charged $300 to make new ones. ’ Kids get sick, appointments need changed, that shouldn’t be difficult. I have two kids in Braces. One at this office and one at a much more up scale office in Lancaster. While I’m paying a lot more for the Lancaster office, we’ve been treated much better! Any breaks have been a non-issue and replaced at no charge. Rescheduling is a breeze.

It’s a night and day difference from our experience in this office. . The clinical staff have been fine. Not warm and fuzzy, but polite and professional. But, you have to pass the gatekeeper to make it that far and I’d look elsewhere if I had to do this again.
