Overall, we are happy with the care our girls receive. However, over the past two years, or longer, since practice changed hands, we have noticed the customer service offered by some of the desk workers has been dwindling. While some continue to be friendly and courteous, there are a few who continue to have a scowl on their expression and seem like they feel bothered when checking us out or scheduling follow-ups.

Additionally, one of the two hygienests who helped our daughters spoke in a condescending way with a judgemental tone, both to our daughter and my husband. Finally, there was no confidentiality for some patients as my husband overheard from the waiting room area, one of the ladies at the desk on the phone, speaking in Spanish to who sounded like a patient, speaking loudly and harshly about payment and liability. Since my husband is bilingual, he understood everything that was being said.

We have been patients at Lancaster Pediatric Dental Associates for 18 years, but sometimes consider looking for another provider.

Bought out by SmileBuilderz. Charged me $78 extra PER KID for asking the dentist what snacks to avoid giving my kids to mitigate future cavities. Absolutely unbelievable. Wouldn’t dental work on my kids without anesthesia because they didn’t think they can sit for it.

One kids needs a silver cap because they small filling they insisted on last year has already fallen out. We are finding a new pediatric dentist.

This place use to be great but not no more! 3 kids scheduled for a 1pm appt, drove 35mins one way cause it was a good dentist been going for a couple years now. Was running behind due to picking 2 kids up at 1 school and another and one And Rt30 traffic doesn’t help. Got the whole way there 8mins late and they refused to see any of them.

So their late policy says other wise and yes I am late, but take 2 of them at least! Nope can’t be seen. So as far as I was told it’s 1/2hr appts so now that dr is sitting with a thumb doing whatever for over an hr while I drive the 35mins back home and book them into a different dentist. Good riddens LPDA!!!

This place has gone down hill terribly. Our appointments are frequently canceled because of over scheduling or providers calling in sick. Two weeks ago they rescheduled our appts at the last minute. The were rescheduled for 0730 yesterday morning The appointments were confirmed the night before by LPDA. We showed up and, standing in their office, they told me “we have to cancel your appointments. Sorry. ” After driving from west York to Lancaster, I initially lost my cool, realized it and apologized, but also refused to leave without the kids being seen by someone.

The front office staff was rude despite my apology and attempts to de-escalate. Marisol, the office manager came out and was wonderful. She does have great customer service skills and worked with me to get the kids seen. The staff remained rude and continued to slam things around and talk about me as though I could not hear them. I used to love LPDA but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone anymore.
