Sante Family Dental is a great place! I’m fairly new there so I don’t have a lot of history with them. I met Dr. Farahani early 2024 after my old dentist told me I needed a root canal and a crown to fix a rather deep cavity that grew beneath a previous filling they(my old dentist) put in. I was told a filling wasn’t an option, but Dr.

Farahani fixed that tooth with a filling and I’ve had no issues since! Just had my first cleaning there last week. The whole team is really nice, polite and professional, as well as being very good at what they do. I’m very happy to have found them and would highly recommend them.

I needed a second opinion, feeling other dentists and even an endodontist were not explaining my full options or what they were doing. Dr Farahani's and the clinic's approach to dentistry is different! They listened, they will provide a full report on what work I need done, the options, the processes and costs. I know I have made the right choice to change my dentist.

I couldn't recommend this establishment more. So much appreciation for their specialized approach to dental care. After multiple failed procedures done elsewhere (including a failed root canal, and subsequent retro root canal) I was left with lingering health issues which seemed like they would never resolve themselves. (I dealt with chronic dry throat and post-nasal drip for years, as well as frontal headaches. I advocated strongly for myself and was never able to find the "root cause", and unfortunately my previous dental treatments were also not successful in resolving my symptoms.

) I felt lost for a long time, and generally brushed-off by the health community; as though my concerns were psychosomatic. Dr. Ali and the team at Santa Family Dental made me feel validated and took a much different approach than any previous dental professional had offered. I ended up getting a ceramic implant and having the problem tooth removed. The whole team did an excellent job describing all of my options, making me feel heard and understood, and they were realistic about the timeline when it came to healing.

Not only is the tooth a perfect match and looks fantastic, but all of my previous symptoms have resolved and I have felt healthy for the first time in a long time. Thank-you to the whole team! I will only be receiving dental care or advice from this dedicated team of professionals for myself and my family in the future.

I genuinely wanted to like this place, but both of my experiences were frustrating due to poor communication and disorganization. I had multiple conversations with the office, filled out all intake forms, and clearly noted that I was pregnant. Over the phone, I was told they wouldn’t do a comprehensive exam due to the pregnancy, which I understood, but I was still under the impression that a cleaning could be done since they booked in. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told after a 10-minute consultation in the chair that they didn’t have enough time to do a cleaning. They also reiterated that they couldn’t do a comprehensive exam, something they already knew. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since I left work early to attend, only to waste my time.

I gave them another chance, called back, and rebooked a cleaning. Again, I left work early, arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, and ended up waiting nearly 40 minutes for my 1 hour cleaning appt, with zero communication from the front desk. No update, no acknowledgment of the long wait, just me sitting there indefinitely. After I left, they called me shortly afterward to ask why I had left. Honestly, I was shocked. Are you that unaware that someone was sitting in your waiting room for nearly 40 minutes? Is that considered standard practice? Because it certainly shouldn’t be.

Obviously, I left because I was kept waiting far too long without explanation. At this point, I’m completely turned off by this practice. My time was not respected, and I’ll be looking for a new dentist, one that communicates clearly and understands the value of their patients’ time.
