I was a client of SKH dentistry since 1986. My dentist Dr. Scott had retired and Dr. Haley was chosen by me to replace him. Initially things were alright. I generally just had cleanings and x-rays. Last November I required 4 fillings,with 2 being replacements. I have never been in so much pain from this office. When Dr. haley froze the areas It was maybe 10 mins,and he came in ,got to work rather fast,and the tooth on my lower left jaw was being worked on and I felt everything.

He put more freezing in,waited 5 mins,started again. Same result,I almost flew out of chair. I was told,"well I am almost finished and i have not even gone down that deep" . . . . Really,could have fooled me,does that even matter when your patient feels it? I am more than disappointed in the professionalism. The other reason I write now is because 2 of the fillings done,now have decay under the filling. . .

I can understated time is money ,however when a client who has supported,and trusted a business with his,and his families oral health for 35 years you would think that they would have some respect. When I left the office for another,I was given a token call by a receptionist who left a absolutely half hearted message asking if they could do anything to rectify things. How about sorry?. . nah that would make it seem as they were wrong. . . Perhaps if the caller sounded even somewhat sincere ,I may have reconsidered. I will not even get into the bill I was charged for the painful experience.

Dr. DaSilva is very thorough - his team is excellent and I’m always provided thorough care here. They’ve often made referrals to other professionals and that is appreciated. My update to this is because the reception staff was extremely discourteous to me, cancelled my cleaning appointment and was ok with booking me 6 months out for a cleaning. Will find another dentist, thank you.

Dr. DaSilva is amazing and super friendly. Always very accommodating and helpful. My benefits were about to expire and they got me in really quickly for 4 different appointments to get all the stuff I needed to get done! He’s very knowledgeable and thorough, plus he explains everything he does to make sure I understand. Great dentistry!!
