I doubt anyone could have been more anxious and nervous about having a root canal than I was. I was so fearful of the dental shield(dam), afraid I couldn't relax enough to swallow. It's hard enough to swallow lying down with your mouth wide open as it is. Dr. Harmon and her assistant Kaitlyn understood my anxiety and did everything possible to make the placement of the shield a gentle process, taking time to make sure I was comfortable before proceeding.

From the very beginning, Dr Harmon kindly explained why the root canal was needed and how the process would go. She assured me she would stop at any time I felt it necessary. During the procedure she explained what she was doing and what was next and asked me numerous times if I was doing okay. I never felt any pain at any time and barely felt the novacain injections. I was well numbed up!! Kaitlyn was an excellent assistant and johnny on the spot with suction tuve and the way she and the doctor interacted with each other was amazing.

The technology there is very impressive and Dr Harmon's skill is top notch(she does this through a microscope!) The office staff made scheduling and registration a breeze. No one ever wants to have root canal and Dr Harmon knows this. She's going to see that you get through it just fine. She's a very sweet! I would highly recommend Southside Endodontist and certainly glad my dentist recommended to me.

My dentist recommended Dr Harmon perform a root canal for me . Dr. Harmon is very professional , caring and personable. She explains what’s coming next during the procedure for me to understand . Katelyn the hygienist was also very professional and caring.
