I have been a long-standing patient of this practice, having received restorative treatment from Dr. Trudeau on multiple occasions. Recently, I was referred by my general dentist for a potential Root Canal and scheduled an initial appointment. On January 27, 2025, I received a text message from the practice stating that they had been trying to reach me (which was untrue) to discuss fees and provide instructions, including the possibility of a cancellation. This communication was unexpected, as the only interaction I had with the office was when I personally called to schedule my appointment on January 8, 2025, at 11:55 a. m.

During that call, the receptionist I spoke with was notably rude. Upon receiving the January 27 message, I promptly called the office to clarify and reschedule my appointment originally set for January 29. The individual I spoke with that day was much more courteous and helpful, and I successfully rescheduled. However, when I called today, February 4, 2025, to reschedule once again, I was informed that there would be an upfront $200 fee—equivalent to the cost of the evaluation appointment—just to reschedule. While I fully understand the importance of managing scheduling challenges, I found this policy unreasonable and disappointing, especially given my long history as a patient of this practice. Expecting me to pay such a fee before any evaluation or treatment has even occurred is unacceptable.

I informed the receptionist that I would be seeking care elsewhere and will no longer be returning to this practice. UPDATE after the response from the practice on 2/11/25: I did not call the doctor back as I won’t go back and forth on the confusion from the front desk staff on what the “fee” entails. Clearly there is a lack of communication between staff and doctor if I have to speak with three people to gain clarity. I will take my health needs elsewhere.

First consultation, the office smelled like an old Subway sandwich that’s been sitting in a hot car in summer. Hot and stuffy waiting area. Second visit for the Root Canal retreatment by Dr. Trudeau and the assistant was super nice. Albeit the weird comment as I sat down and she says “then I’ll slip the jelly in”. She did all the prep. He came in and did a quick “Hi”. I saw an instrument and then felt the jab that sent electric spiderwebs up my sinuses all the way to my right eye. The roughest shot a dentist or Endo has ever given me. He worked fast, didn’t explain a thing and once finished; he left. I tried asking questions, but he hot tailed out and the assistant did the rest. I was told by her to call if I had issues whether nights or weekends. And given a paper with instructions. On the second night (last night) post procedure I woke at midnight in excruciating pain. I called the emergency number.

No response. I called 4-5 times and texted twice. No response. Per instructions I was maxed out on OTC Motrin and Tylenol to manage the pain. It wasn’t working. At 3am I went to the ER and was given a pain reliever that worked almost immediately. My blood pressure was through the roof. I left my new vehicle in the ER parking lot and took an Uber home to get immediate pain management at the ER due to the pain. I got my first call back from the front office staff at 0730 this morning. The Doc was calling in Amoxicillin. I asked if that was it and was told “yes” and given a rehearsed spiel on how 7% of the population have this issue and I have to essentially suck up the pain with Motrin and Tylenol. She then tells me the “on call” person stops answering at 9PM and the assistant should have told me that. That is not in my written paperwork. I finally hung up. Sadly I have to go back in 30 days for the permanent filling.

I don’t know what to do. There was zero communication during the actual procedure. He finished and jetted out with such urgency…for me to see him sitting and bullshitting with Dr. Domark in the open area directly behind the cashier checkout desk. What an incredibly rude office with a complete lack of patient empathy and follow-up care. Horrible horrible experience that I’d never wish on anyone. I’m less angry with the Dentist that didn’t properly clean out the old tooth for the original root canal which caused the infection and retreatment. I’d also explained to him I have had to live with the original root canal issues because it was done right before my double mastectomy due to breast cancer. And the altogether 7 surgeries I’ve had in just over 12 months. My life has been pain for so long and his team just took that pain off the charts. As human beings, I hope they find a way to do better. They can talk to my husband about the meltdown this has caused me due to being so incredibly tired of the constant pain. This procedure and carelessness has demoralized me.

Good morning two Fridays ago I was in pain and I was given help. I called for an early appointment. I was first on the list. I had a Root Canal. Within less than an hour, I was in and out and numb. I would recommend anyone to go to their office for the care you may need. They’re very professional, caring, friendly, and very understanding.
