I had been waiting for my appointment for a month and on the day of they call and tell me there is no need to come in because they can't touch someone else's work even though me dentist had retired. . I let the manager know that I was willing to pay out of pocket and she refused. . After a few minutes she became very rude that I was confused by the fact of them waiting until the day of. . after I took PTO time at my job just to make this appointment. I asked to speak to the dentist or whoever is higher than her.
She refused to give me her name and flat out hung up the phone on me. This happened today on December 2, 2024 and they called me at about 8:56 in the morning. I hope this review reaches above her pay grade so they could have the call monitored so she could be reprimanded. I feel completely let down by this woman in charge representing Universal Dental. At the very least she needs to be retrained in the areas of customer service. Imagine how many people/customers she has ran away.

I’d like to first thank all the dentists and all staff members except the office manager for a great 5 years of service for me and my family ! They have wonderful people who work there however , if this practice is to ever fail it will solely be on the shoulder of this office manager .
As a healthcare professional myself I have never come across anyone as rude and condescending as this woman ! In the 5 years I have been going there , she has not once smiled .
I have on multiple occasions given her the benefit of the doubt in thinking it has possibly been a tough day but no , her personality is just plainly rude and disgusting! As a manager not only should you be more patient and respectful to people but have the “care” in patient care ! Unfortunately because of her terrible mouth she has lost the business of 5 people and will lose the many others that will no longer come after reading this review ! I really hope the dentist owner realizes what a terrible hire she is and is willing to find someone kinder , softer and caring for his patients ! So sorry to have to leave this review but I can’t see any other self respecting individual be tormented by her !

I couldn’t be more disgusted with a dental office if I could be. This dental office from front with condescending receptionist at the desk to the quality of dentists IS NOT WORTH ANYONES TIME OR MONEY. I have suffer from severe anxiety & ptsd.
I was in extreme pain and never efficiently medicated ( I had GI bleeding due to being in pain for so long that I took so much ibuprofen I cause lesions in my stomach ) I was told to call my GI doctor to get meds from them, and when I told them GI had nothing to do with them they still wouldn’t do anything for me with all the documentation from my GI, phsyciatrist, and any other doctor to validate me being medicated. This is all while i am waiting to get a FULL extraction for dentures because I need to be put to sleep. They said my insurance didn’t cover immediate dentures, insurance said I did, when I went back to them they said “well we’re not doing the extractions so there’s nothing you can do, you have to wait your healing time and that’s it”.
So I had a second opinion as recommended by insurance and what’s the first thing they said “of course we can do that” so the laziness alone is incredible. They’re not welcoming or accommodating. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I really was pleased with this office. They went above and beyond to help me in my time of need. The receptionists and doctors/nurses are absolutely amazing. I was in so much pain and they did all that they could and they made sure I got an emergency appointment to the oral surgeon in less than 2 days who was overbooked for months.
If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have been able to get my tooth removed and relieve the awful pain it was causing cause I could not find an oral surgeon who would take me in my time of need. I really am so thankful and will be referring them to everyone I know.
