Detailed Introduction

Waterloo Endodontics is a highly specialized Dental Clinic located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, dedicated exclusively to the field of endodontics. This branch of dentistry deals with the pulp and tissues inside the tooth, primarily focusing on Root Canal therapy and related procedures. The clinic operates out of Suite 501, 1 Blue Springs Dr, Waterloo, ON N2J 4M1. As a dedicated endodontics clinic, Waterloo Endodontics offers a range of advanced services aimed at saving natural teeth that have been affected by infection, inflammation, or injury. Their core services include: Root Canal Therapy: This is the most common procedure performed, involving the removal of infected or inflamed pulp, cleaning and shaping the inside of the tooth, and then filling and sealing it to prevent further infection. Endodontic Retreatment: For teeth that have previously undergone root canal treatment but have not healed properly or have developed new issues, retreatment involves reopening the tooth, cleaning the canals again, and re-sealing them. Endodontic Surgery (e.g., Apicoectomy): In cases where non-surgical root canal treatment is not sufficient, surgical procedures like apicoectomy (removal of the tip of the root) are performed to address issues such as hidden canals or fractured roots. Diagnosis and Management of Cracked Teeth and Traumatic Dental Injuries: Endodontists at Waterloo Endodontics are skilled in diagnosing and treating complex cases of cracked teeth and injuries that affect the tooth pulp. The clinic prides itself on providing the highest standard of professional care in a comfortable and friendly environment. They emphasize clear communication with patients and work collaboratively with referring general dentists to ensure optimal oral health outcomes. Reviews frequently highlight the professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate approach of the staff, with many patients reporting surprisingly comfortable and pain-free experiences even during complex procedures like root canals. Waterloo Endodontics utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including operating microscopes, digital imaging, and ultrasonic instrumentation, to ensure precise diagnosis and effective treatment. Their focus on specialized care allows them to accommodate emergency cases and alleviate dental pain quickly.

Good. But you know, I disagree with situation in any Endodontics policies.whenever people has their insurance. it should pay the differences not full amount money upfront. Because any insurance knows the prices of endodontics . I’m protect mine n others s rightful. Thanks

I had a great experience at Waterloo Endodontics while having a Root Canal. I even nodded off a couple of times during the procedure. Great professional staff all around.. Thanks.

Best dental experience I've ever had. Gentle and kind. I was really nervous about my Root Canal but I think I actually fell asleep during the procedure - it was painless. Thank you for the excellent experience. Highly recommend!

I intended to show NO stars but in order to post a review I was required to show one star. Today I had one of the single most upsetting experiences of my life. In 2024 I had a Root Canal. I found the staff helpful and courteous, the doctor was also helpful explaining the procedure. After one month the tooth was still tender so I called the office. I was told it wasn’t unusual to experience discomfort and someone would be following up with me. No one called me. The tooth continued to be sensitive and in February of 2025 it became painful.

I saw the doctor today and after taking an X-ray he told me he didn’t see anything that would indicate a problem. He told me I could have a CT scan or possibly a 360 degree scan which could show if the tooth was damage and would need to be extracted. I asked a few questions and told him my family dentist had wondered if I had nerve damage. He very rudely said “stop” I hesitated thinking I had misheard him. He continued talking and when I asked another question he saidI I should go back to my family dentist because I obviously thought he was a better dentist. He then said “just leave” and he walked out of the room. I was in absolute shock. I asked the receptionist if I could speak with him, she went to his office and he said he wouldn’t speak with me.

I stood in the reception area thinking this can’t have just happened. I waited there and when he came out of his office I asked if I could speak with him. He said he didn’t want to speak with me, I had interrupted him and was disrespectful. I asked what I had done and I said if I had interrupted him I was sorry and I certainly wasn’t intending to be disrespectful. He said “I don’t want you as a patient” at which time feeling very emotional I said “I don’t want you as my dentist” The fact remains Dr. Schroeder performed a root canal that has become problematic and he was so quick to dismiss me without any resolution. Doctor Schroeder is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. As a senior who had a successful career in sales management, I have never encountered anyone so unkind and dismissive Tonia Kelly
