About
Dr. Jonathan Puza was born in Cleveland, OH but was raised in Lexington, SC. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. Dr. Puza attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. He graduated in 2013 with his DMD degree and was awarded the Quintessence Award for Restorative Dentistry as the top restorative dentist in his class. Following graduation, Dr. Puza entered service with the US Army. He completed a 12 Month Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Fort Jackson, SC in 2014 and was named the top resident in his class. Dr. Puza moved to the Triangle area in 2015 while finishing his Army service at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. Dr. Puza joined the Dental Center of the Carolinas team on a part time basis in February 2017 and is now the full time dentist at Dental Center of the Carolinas South Square. He has received advanced training in all phases of dentistry and works diligently to provide comprehensive care to every patient. Dr. Puza and his wife Amber were married in 2011. They have a dog, Qanuk, and a cat, Maple. He spends his free time playing sports and attempting to tame his jungle of a yard.
