About
Dentistry has truly been my passion for over 25 years! I am devoted to helping my patients achieve their dream smile. My practice philosophy is helping my patients achieve optimal oral health, utilizing the the highest standards of care in the most comfortable way possible.I take a boutique approach to patient care. My team and I take ample time to listen to patient needs and build a treatment plan that supports each patient's unique oral care goals. We are comprehensive in our service offering and proudly offer a variety of general, restorative and cosmetic dental services. I am also a provider of Invisalign® Clear Aligners. Patient care, comfort and safety will always be our top priority.I continually strive to use the most modern techniques to offer my patients superior care. I am a proud member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. I am also a delegate to the Maryland State Dental Association as well as an appointee to the Budget and Finance Committee and the Membership Committee. I have been named "US Top Dentist" by Consumers Research Council of America yearly for the last 15 years.I regularly volunteer my time with the Mission of Mercy and Carpenter's Shelter and other charitable organizations. Most recently my children and I created and printed 3-D N95 masks and shields which we donated to support nurses, dentists, doctors, assistants and EMS personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, I received an Honors Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Guelph. I came to the United States to study dentistry and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. Earlier in my career, I spent a year and a half practicing dentistry and working with the Inuit community, in the Canadian Arctic. Away from the office, I love to spend time with my husband and three children in our home in Alexandria. I enjoy a variety of sports, including skiing, both water and downhill, rowing, tennis and pilates. Another passion of mine is gardening. I love to nurture and grow flowers and then arrange them to share with patients, brightening the office and our spirits! I look forward to serving you at our practice soon!
