About
Dr. Timothy R. Glass is a native Virginian, born and raised in Virginia Beach. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry from Old Dominion University. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. Following dental school, Dr. Glass worked in private practice as a cosmetic general dentist for four years before deciding to specialize in orthodontics. He then graduated from West Virginia University where he received his Master of Science in Orthodontics and his certificate in orthodontics. His experience in private practice has given him a broad knowledge base on overall oral health and has provided a greater foundation for his work as an orthodontist. Dr. Glass has also studied at the Dawson Academy, receiving continuing education that has allowed him to advance his knowledge and skill in the management and treatment of malocclusion and TMJ. As of October 2016, Dr. Glass also became board certified, an esteemed certification granted to only one in three orthodontists. He is currently a member of: American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Virginia Association of Orthodontists (VAO) Southern Association of Orthodontists (SAO) American Dental Association (ADA) Virginia Dental Association (VDA) Tidewater Dental association (TDA) Virginia Beach Dental Study Club Dr. Glass is married to his high school sweetheart, Lindsay. They are the proud parents of Andrew and Taylor. Hanging out and traveling with his family is one of his favorite things to do. He also enjoys cooking, golfing, fishing, and playing the guitar.
