Extremely Unprofessional, Painful, and Financially Exploitative Experience If there is zero star, I will give this clinic a no star rate. My visit to this dental clinic was one of the worst healthcare experiences we have ever had. There was absolutely no sense of customer service, compassion, or professionalism from the staff. I went in for a tooth extraction due to severe and persistent pain. However, the dentist administered anesthesia incorrectly—on the wrong side of my mouth. Despite crying out in pain and explaining that the area was not numb, this female dentist proceeded to try to extract the tooth anyway. When I cried again in extreme pain, they again continued and dismissed. After 3 failed attempts another dentist (a supervisor I guess) stepped in. When he arrived, he immediately realized that the anesthesia had been applied to the wrong area.

He administered it correctly, and finally received the proper pain relief. In front of me, he even told the other dentist “you put the anesthesia in the wrong places, confirming their earlier mistake. But the damage was already done. I had to endure weeks of pain following that visit. I struggled to eat, speak, and even work, I wasn’t able to open my mouth. We eventually had to go to a completely different dental clinic just to have the procedure done properly. The second clinic I went treated me with care, professionalism, and provided excellent customer service. The financial process there was also clear, reasonable, and transparent—everything this clinic failed to deliver. To make matters worse, Eastern Dental had already billed the insurance and charged for procedures.

When we asked for a refund, they refused. Their excuse was that the “service was already performed”—completely ignoring the fact that the service was done incorrectly, caused additional harm, and was handled in an unprofessional manner. We have since reported this to the insurance provider. This experience was not only physically and emotionally traumatic—it was also financially draining. We strongly advise others to avoid this clinic. Patients deserve care, honesty, and professionalism—none of which were present in this clinic.

I have to go to this particular dentist because of the insurance at my job. Nice people at the front desk. Had a cavity filled and was very painful. Told the doctor and she acted as if it was impossible for me to feel the pain. Same tooth needed to be refilled the next doctor was nicer but same issue painful. No explanation as to why.

Had a wisdom tooth pulled last week. Still in pain called to find out if it’s normal. I was told to call if pain persists. Was on hold for 30 mins then told they will call me back. I truly despise this place

Today I had my appointment for my normal cleaning. When I saw the Dr he said I needed a more intense cleaning, a periodontal scraping. I said ok but when I was waiting to go in the financial person called me in to say it was gonna cost $480 because my insurance doesn’t pay it. This took me by surprise and I wasn’t prepared for it so I declined the cleaning.

Does this happen quickly, when I was there last time nothing was said about a problem. I decided I would wait until after the summer to do this more intense cleaning.

I made an appointment over two months ago for a cleaning and exam. I remember calling to ask if another location was available sooner and the man on the phone told me to “google it. ” Wow. It took one hour just for X-rays. The dentist came in, looked at the x-rays, dug directly into my guns-not teeth-then told me I’d have to come back for three treatments of $700 cleaning (outside of my insurance).

He said the cleanings are infused with antibiotics. Anyone can prescribe an antibiotic and not look for reasons to turn visits into something cosmetic (I actually had that happen when needing my wisdom teeth pulled). I have not one cavity. This type of proposed cleaning was a money grab. I was told I HAVE to sign their pricing form-I at least knew to write in that I acknowledge their pricing and don’t agree to the terms, because they did not do more than x-rays and I will need to go to a more honest and time-considerate place to get a cleaning.

I think the dental assistant was the only positive experience while dealing with this, from start to finish. I didn’t intend to look the place up to give this review but they had the gall to request one.
