I having been going to Eastern Dental since 1989. They are the best. I love my smile and it’s all because of the work done by Dr. Hal Fruchtman. The practice provides comprehensive dental care with multi specialty offices under the same roof. I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment including emergency ones. I have never met an employee there that wasn’t nice.

I received my first root canal when I visited on 6/25. Because of bad experiences that I've had with special services here, including routine visits, I contemplated canceling the appointment. However I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome of the procedure. I did not wait long to be seen. .

. the dentist explained the procedure as it was performed, the assistant was pleasant and the procedure was finished in very little time. From arrival to completion of the procedure I was finished and leaving Eastern Dental Ewing in no more than one hour twenty minutes.

My first time going to Eastern Dental. Was never interested in going there. Reviews were always bad and I now see why. But I must say that the receptionist there, the doctor and the tech that did my x-rays were great. But after that everything else sucked in my opinion. The individual that cleaned my teeth was really arrogant…. just kept offering me services and saying it’s only $30, it’s only $99…. . like just clean my teeth…. and she acted annoyed because I said no thank you…. .

and I hadn’t heard what the expenses would be for the services I know I needed on my teeth yet. Then the individual I spoke too about needing oral surgery to remove my teeth and add bone this and that to my gums was also trying to spend my money. Starting with your bill if you didn’t have insurance would be 3,400 but you have good insurance so it’s only going to cost you just under $1,000(rounding the amount off)…. but then was like I have Monday open or I can do the medicine part today …. its only $200…. then you can come back on Monday. Then you have to put money down in order to make an appointment…. . just did not like the “it only cost”…. . part of the conversation.

Just spending up your money. Just tell the person what they need done and how much and then just let them know the can call and make an appointment when there ready. I would have spent $350 before I got out of the office and not have even had my procedure done yet. Stop making people feel like just because maybe at that time they don’t want to make an appointment on your time that there “poor” or something. Let them breathe and get home and make that decision if there not sure at the moment. Once my procedure is done I will not be returning to Eastern Dental…did not like my first visit or the trying to nickel and dime me. Just not professional to me. Just my opinion…if it works for you great but me it’s a “no” and I may not even go for the procedure and they can keep that deposit. Not happy at all…. !!!
